Getting in the mood for the Christmas period and looking for some in-game events to celebrate the season? Destiny 2 has you covered.

Running between December 15 to January 5, 2021, The Dawning returns from previous years with its Christmas inspired event. The hubs have been rethemed to take full advantage of the season and many in-game activities are sure to get you in the mood.

Even the biting chill of Europa can’t freeze the warm hearts of Guardians during this special time of year. Eva Levante welcomes you to the Tower to learn a new recipe, to find an unexpected gift or two, and maybe shred a rail in your tricked-out Sparrow while you’re at it. Gear up, gift up, and stay frosty, because The Dawning has returned.

Numerous cosmetics and weapons will also be available for players to obtain as goodies. A new Legendary Fusion Rifle known as the Glacioclasm is a stunning weapon with a lot of firepower, while the Eververse Store will be home to numerous Christmas themed cosmetics.

With social distancing and people staying at home still being fairly prevelant in the world, events such as The Dawning will no doubt bring friends together. The trailer even points to some sledging and snowball fights, allowing more ways to embrace the holiday season. It looks like a lot of fun!
