Original story: Square Enix has confirmed today as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 that NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is officially coming to Xbox One on April 23rd, 2021 in North America and Europe.
The game is a remastered version of the original NieR Replicant from 2010, and is set to feature re-recorded voice acting and music, a new character and possibly even a new ending.
There's no information on an optimised Xbox Series X version yet, but we'll keep you informed.

The protagonist is a kind young man living in a remote village. In order to save his sister Yonah, who fell terminally ill to the Black Scrawl, he sets out with Grimoire Weiss, a strange talking tome, to search for the "Sealed verses."

Great news, but I'm still disappointed it's not Gestalt.

I think that music is using 3D spatial audio.

Pretty upsetting they're going with the version that was made specifically for Japan instead of the original that has Nier as Yona's dad.
