Intense FPS Bright Memory: Infinite was revealed as coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X back at Inside Xbox in May, and it wowed us at the time with its stunning visuals and lightning-fast gameplay.
The game, which is the product of just a single developer's vision (!), received its latest trailer as part of the Future Games Show on Friday night, showing off more gameplay along with some snippets of a boss fight.
Bright Memory: Infinite didn't receive a release date when it was revealed earlier this year, but the official Xbox website is currently suggesting a 2021 release, so it might still be a little while out just yet.

yes yes show some ray tracing 🙌
Any mention if this was running on PC or XSX?
This was one of highlights of the May show for me. 👍🏻
@Tharsman I imagine PC. Then again Microsoft have mishandled so much lately it wouldn't surprise me if they unceremoniously accidentally did this as their 1st actual XSX gameplay reveal.
Also a slight correction for the article, the original version of Bright Memory was all done by just one guy. Bright Memory Infinite is basically the remaster and he has access to a development support studio.
@Medic_Alert Yeah it took me about an hour to complete it on PC a few months ago (March? April?) when it launched.
Edit: It was also something like €5 on Steam at the time, slight sale from it's usual €8
Looks brilliant and brutal! May be difficult to master like Bulletstorm.
Q) Are you liking the look of Bright Memory: Infinite?
A) Very much so; it's presently at the top of my most anticipated Xbox Series X games list... which is very peculiar given a new Fable got announced and that this is an FPS game.
There's just something about this game that feels... enticing. Everything looks so fluid and the gameplay looks thrilling; an that trailer served to only get me more excited for the game. The protagonist looks fantastic and that boss sequence at the end looked cool.
You do know this game is created with stolen and pirated artwork from other games, right?
Everybody knows by now, even the creator admitted it.
It's a game made with STOLEN AND PIRATED ASSETS!!!
