Sci-fi shooter Disintegration releases later this month for Xbox One on June 16th, and the official Xbox YouTube channel has released a new video showcasing its multiplayer features in depth, centred around three modes called Zone Control, Collector and Retrieval.
In Zone Control, you'll compete to capture specific areas on the map. Collector will you see collecting as many "Brain Cans" as possible before the timer is up or the score limit is reached. And in Retrieval, players will split up into attacking and defending teams.
Disintegration is being developed by independent studio V1 Interactive, founded by the co-creator of Halo Marcus Lehto. You can watch the Multiplayer Modes trailer for the game above, and Xbox also released a single-player Story Trailer for the game a few weeks ago.
Disintegration is a sci-fi FPS combined with RTS elements. Pilot a heavily weaponised Gravcycle while commanding your troops on the ground as you battle through a thrilling single-player campaign and in frenetic PvP multiplayer.

I am curious about this game, for obvious reasons. However, I really hope it’s not just a multiplayer focused FPS with a tacked on campaign.
