A few weeks ago, we were treated to some jaw-dropping Minecraft DirectX Raytracing images and an Xbox Series X demo. Now, Nvidia has announced an RTX Beta is coming to Windows 10 later this week, which will be a free download for all PC users with an Nvidia RTX GPU on April 16th.
The beta will feature Nvidia DLSS 2.0, which is a real-time rendering technique "that accelerates performance via AI-based super resolution." It will also include a variety of pre-built Creative, Adventure and Survival worlds that are enhanced with "physically-based textures."
If you're interested in trying it out, Nvidia is suggesting you download its RTX Game Ready Driver from its website when made available tomorrow. Then, the beta itself will be rolling out at 10AM PT (6PM BST), and will downloadable via the in-game Minecraft Marketplace on Windows 10 PC.
Will you be giving the Minecraft RTX Beta a go on Thursday? Let us know in the comments below.
