With Xbox One backward compatibility now available to Preview Program members, some are finding that one of the games - Hexic HD - is not showing up for them.
Now, Hexic HD was installed on the hard drive of every Xbox 360 when the console launched, meaning that you should technically have access to it. However, as the game was never technically registered with your account - it was just on your system - you'll find that it doesn't show up in your list of backward-compatible games.
To remedy this, you need to "buy" the game again. It won't cost you anything, though. Just head to the game page on Xbox.com and sign in, then run through the steps to buy it. Nothing will be charged to you, and the game will turn up on your Xbox One as a playable backward-compatible title shortly after.

Thanks Ken!!
I'm gonna finish the flower or was it a star... :/
Thnx
Never did like this game, but thanks for the info. I'm sure that will help a lot of people. I had forgotten this was free back in the day.
Thanks for that Ken - I used to love playing this and I'm sure I will again now!
Do you have any idea why my Digital version of Kameo might not be showing up?
@stylon Absolutely no idea, unfortunately. I never had it as a digital version, so I can't test it, either
@SuperKMx I didn't either - I originally had it as a physical game but traded it in a long time ago when I'd completed it. I bought it again digitally the other day as soon as I found out about the backwards compatibility. I installed it on my 360, checked the saved game still loaded and copied it to the cloud... but it's not showing up to download at all. Only my old XBLA games have showed up...
@stylon That's weird...may be a bug with that particular game? I would have guessed an issue with Games on Demand in general, but a friend of mine is playing the digital version of Perfect Dark Zero without a problem.
It'll sort itself in due course, I'm sure.
@SuperKMx I just did a bit of digging and some are saying that at the moment the beta currently only supports North American disk based games? Don't know if that's true... but might explain it...
@stylon Hmm, could well be the case. I guess that's why it's in Preview for the time being!
Thanks for the info gents. Anyway to join the Preview program? An invite maybe? Thanks all.
This didnt work for me, I need another payment option and it wants me to put a credit card on even though I have the game on my 360, it's free, and I have about $10 on live. What the heck...
US here, and I managed to not give MS my card so far, I don't plan to now.. anyone hit same thing and find a work around? Sigh.
Edit - xDeuce still need an invite? GT same as nick?
