According to Major Nelson's blog, Xbox One Preview program members should begin receiving the first of two system updates today, with the second arriving next week. The April system update brings improvements to the Party Chat app and Achievement notifications, as well as adding more game hub links.
To be a bit more specific, the Party app will now let you enable your microphone and show you when there are communication and networking problems between you and your party members.
Achievement notifications are getting a slight makeover too. Now whenever an achievement pops up, a description of what you just did to earn it will be visible without jumping to the Achievement app. Speaking of said app, its also been given a nice performance boost when leaving from the Achievement notification.
Thirdly, discovering game hub content will be much easier now that they've been added to the activity feed. This means whenever your friend follows a particular game, you'll be able to see that in your activity feed. You can also immediately jump to a game's hub straight from the activity feed or its achievement screen.
Let us know what you think about these improvements, and remember, the second wave will be released next week. We'll keep you updated on that too whenever we hear about it.

Nothing major butbsweet nonetheless
The party app update was needed a year ago, maybe it will work correctly now
The achievement change is much appreciated, especially given how long it can take to snap the achievement app first time. I do still miss the way you could bring the guide up instantly on the 360 to check achievements on the fly.
