It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
February 2023's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few easy requirements by February 15th, you can top up your account by another 2000 points (around £2 / $2).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Complete a Microsoft Bing search on five separate days
- Complete 3 "daily sets" (accessible via Microsoft Bing)
- Earn 3 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
- Complete a weekly set
To go with this, if you log into the Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser, some regions will find a new film-based punch card for 150 points. Over on Xbox, there's also an easy Developer Direct punch card for 50 points, along with a new punch card called "Xbox Game Pass Dynamic Duos" in which you can get 500 points for completing an achievement in one of a few games.
If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
Note: Not available in all regions. Full regional details have not been provided by Microsoft.

How many folk here do their daily, weekly and monthly searches and activities to redeem Microsoft Points? I’ve been doing them for years and I have never had to pay for a day of Game Pass for either myself or my son, and I’m subbed until September 2024.
Seriously if you aren’t taking advantage of this, why not!!?
@ChopperCampbell I've been doing it since I got my series s in December 2021. Not paid for GP yet and I've bought Dead Rising 3, Rouge Legacy 2 & half of The Callisto Protocol with vouchers through the rewards system currently sat on 51,000 so another 3 months of GP & £10 off Hogwarts Legacy. Best thing about Xbox for me.
I earn 8 to 10,000 points per month, which gets me 10 usd to spend in the store. So I'm not earning the max as others are, but really like the program and consider it a major perk in the MS ecosystem
Long may it continue.
@Decoy_Snake Wowsers! Please show me the way! I’m new to Xbox and only pretty recently found out about these points. I only have 2000 of them right now and they’re all accrued by accident. I really need to look into how to earn them properly so I can start adding more games to my Series X digital collection.
@The_Pixel_King make sure you go to rewards.bing.com and have an account ready to go. The daily sets are on there (usually 50 points there most days there's another 30 points worth below the daily set) & getting a streak of those can get you bonus points after a few days, at the start of each month there's an extra section that gets you 150 points and doing Bing searches (full site, mobile & edge) that nets around 190 a day. Then do all the stuff on the rewards app on the console that gets you a decent amount every month as well.
@Decoy_Snake Thanks for the reply my friend, much appreciated. I’ll definitely check out this Bing site. I’m in hospital at the moment, so nothing better to do! 😂
@The_Pixel_King no problem my dude, hopefully it saves you a bit of cash. Hope you feel better soon ✌🏻
@Decoy_Snake Aww, thanks dude. I have Crohn’s disease and had a bad flair up. They’ve booked an MRI for the morning and if everything’s clear, I should be allowed home. Fingers crossed 😉
@The_Pixel_King fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
@The_Pixel_King if you have a PC or laptop log into the Xbox app on that too. On the Xbox app (phone, PC or laptop) there are always four daily challenges. One is play one game of Jewel (it’s built into the app so doesn’t need to be downloaded) and the other is open the app. These two can be completed regardless of with one of the apps you open and play Jewel on.
The important two are play a game on PC, and play a game with friends on PC challenges. If you have a PC/laptop download Age of Empires 1, launch the game and head to the multiplayer. You might need to refresh the list of lobbies but there are always dozens of lobbies where you can join and then just sit until both challenges unlock. If you have linked your social media account (can be done in any Xbox app) and have at least seven friends on your Xbox profile these four challenges will net you about 300 points every single day.
@The_Pixel_King On top of that, do the daily challenges on rewards.bing.com, and also the daily searches on Bing (I use the Bing app on my phone but you can use the console app) and Microsoft Edge (I use the console, but sometimes use the Edge app on my iPhone, where I have Bing set as the default search engine) and that will be another 162 points per day.
My method is to do single letter searches on Edge on the console (search a, then search b, then c and so on) then switch to my phone and search aa, then bb, cc, and so on. Takes a few minutes tops.
Anyone new to doing this check these tips.
Once all dailys are done on microsoft.rewards.com and the xbox app you can then earn more though gamepass. It'd possible to get around a £10-15 voucher each month with dailys and gamepass rewards.
If anyone needs a last minute achievement, if you play through literally the first level of OPUS: Echo of Starsong you'll get an achievement that also get you the Xbox Game Pass Dynamic Duos (activate it first.) I seriously skipped through all the dialogue and held my stick to the right and pressed A a few times. Boom! Completed right before the deadline.
