Alternatively you can find one of those diablo-themed sites with a timer, e.g.:

I have the Deluxe Edition pre-ordered. Unfortunately, I am currently playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild on my Switch. I would imagine I'm about 30% through the game. Therefore I cannot see me being finished by the 2nd. I also have Tears of the Kingdom, but that'll have to wait until after Diablo..!
*As an aside, (and completely off topic!) this is the first game I've ever played on a Switch, and damn the buttons confuse me constantly. Why do the Xbox and the Nintendo have the same letters, but in different places? Last time I looked, there were 26 letters in the alphabet, so why pick the same letters as one another? And if you insist on doing so, why put them in different places? As someone that has gamed on an Xbox since the OG came out, I have learned experience of where the buttons are, so now I'm trying to unlearn that habit in order to play on the Switch, and everything is about face! I mentioned this to my son last night, who advised me that Nintendo used the letters first. If that is the case, why did Xbox use the same ones? Is there some meaning behind the chosen letters?
After dithering on whether to get it on Series X or PS5, I’ve decided to go with team Xbox! Gonna get the digital deluxe version…roll on Friday!
@Nightcrawler71 enjoy it like a Mackinaw peach
@Fiendish-Beaver A= action, B= back, C = continue and D= drop … as you can tell I have no idea 🤷
Kinda tempted for Diablo 4. I’ve only played 3 back on the ps4 when it was released. I really enjoyed it and got most of the trophies but stopped playing after the game was completed and never went back. Diablo 4 looks good but don’t know if it would be overwhelming for me.
@Fiendish-Beaver I find it really confusing too, I'm constantly pressing the wrong buttons... I think there is an option to reverse the AB buttons, but I found it just made it even more confusing for me lol because of muscle memory!
@Nightcrawler71 it feels better to me on the Xbox controller. Glad to see you got it for Xbox. My finger slips off the sticks on PS5. One of my biggest issues with their controllers. Can’t wait for the game. Got it pre ordered on Series X
@GunValkyria You can get games cheaper sometimes from sites like gamivo
@Green-Bandit yeah this is the main reason why I went with Xbox in the end, because I prefer the controller. Nice textured grips and triggers. It just feels more “solid” in your hands.
so we still gone need 2 battlenet accounts to play couch coop?
do both of the accounts needs to buy the game?
@Green-Bandit See you in 3 months….
@Nightcrawler71 Couldn’t agree more. For some reason, every time i tell myself the Dual sense is just fine and i start to use it, my hands hurt a bit and i slip off the left stick and there’s to much travel in the triggers. I just end up right back to the Xbox controller and it feels just right. Again for me, not starting a war on controllers. But they are important.
@AlwaysPlaying Heck yes. Happy you got it and really hope you enjoy it buddy 😊
@Fiendish-Beaver Just remap the buttons. I know somebody said it makes it even more confusing, but it really doesn't if your muscle memory is so used to them the "normal" way. I basically never look down at any controller to see what button I am pressing.
A big problem I have with Breath of the Wild though isn't the button layout. It's the convoluted controls, which is one of several reasons I dropped the game and will never finish it. Things like choosing weapons and ammo for them could be much simpler.
Might try get some sleep now cause god knows when midnight comes I won't b sleeping for a while
I'll wait at least 2 or 3 months... and a good amount of patches !
I'm getting grumpy regarding the AAA studios !!!
@GunValkyria Yeah I have purchased many games from them It's usually cheaper to get games from other regions such as Argentina & Turkey you have to redeem them with vpn but the savings make it worth it!
@Fiendish-Beaver I have the same with the Xbox after having played for decades on PS. I’m constantly pushing A when I see an X.
My Xbox Live subscription just expired. Didn't plan on renewing Live (and Game Pass) until Starfield came out. I just found out I have to have Xbox Live to play Diablo 4. Looks like I'm not playing this. Lol.
