Topic: Your Latest Xbox Purchase

I was surprised we don't have a thread for purchases yet (unless there was one from years ago that's now locked) so I went ahead and created this thread. I figure this thread can be for any Xbox purchase (Xbox One, 360 or even OG Xbox) to discuss and share.

So my latest purchase is Greedfall on the Xbox One. Been wanting to give this game a chance since I like RPGs, I just didn't have time for this game when it was released, but with it being on sale for $25 and being on lockdown I figure now's as good as any time to get it.

I haven't heard too many bad things about this game just that it doesn't do anything special, but as I said for $25, why not.

Got myself copy of Anthem for 5 euros. Haven't played it yet, but I believe that 5€ is fine price. Even if I hated it, it is not that big a loss.

I'm hovering over Final Fantasy VII in the sales. Never played it, looks outdated to me now. But I loved Legend of Dragoon back in the day, so I feel like I'd love this.

@FraserG As someone who loved Legend of Dragoon I was disappointed with FF VII. Yeah LoD was a long game (4 discs I believe) but the story flowed and never really slowed down, while FF VII felt like it just dragged on and on and honestly didn't need to be as long as it was.

It always surprised me that Final Fantasy VII got so much praise while Legend of Dragoon got none.

The last physical game I bought for each system was:

Xbox one: Resident Evil 2 (played and completed)
Xbox 360: Escape Dead Island
Xbox: Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

Just purchased World of final fantasy maxima, I got it for 10 bucks brand new on amazon.. I also just bought steamworld dig last night..

I’m really looking forward to playing this game, as I love Doom and I’ve never played this game before.
I never got it on N64 back in the day, and this is the first time it’s released on any other format.

My last 'purchase' was technically not mine, but the Wife. She bought me a X1X with Return of the Jedi for Xmas LOVE IT!

@Tasuki Yeah. Total surprise! I was hoping for the game. She managed to blag an empty game case and wrapped that as a joke, then gave me the Xbox bundle. I was blown away!

does dlc count? I bought The Boss' sneaking suit for Metal Gear Solid V because she's such a BA and it was only 90 cents lol. Imo, it's the best looking suit for women, with the standard sneaking suit coming in second.

Since I found out that I can play as a soldier lady, I haven't touched Snake at all. It doesn't really affect the story very much.

I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Queen’s Quest 4, Resident Evil 0 and Forgotton Anne at really good prices in the various sales and specials going on right now.

@JoakimZ Forgotton Anne is one of those games I thought was OK at the time, but it really stuck with me. Beautiful game with a great story.

Bought Tomb Raider and Rise of Tomb Raider. Accidentally bought the DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider (thought it was the definitive edition, I was tired!) so will have to track down a cheap copy of the vanilla game on disc to get any savings out of it.

Decided to take further advantage of the spring sale:

Each game works out at less than £4. Bargain!

Picked up The Bioshock Collection the other day from the Spring Sale. Never played the first two, played Infinite years ago. I will say I am enjoying my time with this one.

Wolfenstein The New Order, Wolfenstein The Old Blood and Ori and the Blind Forest from spring sale.

Picked up up the Bioshock collection, Call of duty modern warfare remastered and the witcher 3 complete edition..
