@crippyd Ori and the Wil o the whisps is on my list, loved the first game.
I’ve had Witcher 3 goty edition waiting on a shelf since I got it cheap on Black Friday 2018. Read the books and played through Witcher 2 do I think that is on the horizon (finally!)

Started Bioshock today, which I will admit is the first time I am playing this game (played Infinite when it came out years ago). I got it on the collection so I figured I would start with the first one.
I am enjoyed my it so far, the atmosphere is done really well and I am enjoying the different ways you can deal with enemies. The story is good to from what I have played. The only thing I am kinda annoyed with is the fact that you can only have two of the mutant abilities to switch from at a time. There might be a way to open up more slots and I just haven't found a way yet but as of now I haven't found any.
As I said I never played this one before so I am going in with fresh eyes so I don't know how the difference is with the graphical upgrade. Still given the fact that this game is 13 years old its still holds up really well. Definitely worth the $15 I paid for it.
Will post more about what I thought about the game once I finish it.

@Tasuki Bioshock one is excellent. I first played it several years ago on the 360. The first time you see Rapture from the diving bell was one of those ‘wow!’ moments in video games.
Enjoy it. Was very tempted to get the collection as it only £11.99 on sale on the online shop. I have all three games on 360 already.

@Gamecuber Yeah I agree it's a gorgeous looking game and as I said the atmosphere adds alot.
I would love to see this I.P. come back for an actual current gen release in the form of a sequel rather then a remaster. I would love to see an open world Bioshock game something akin too Borderlands or Fallout.

Still going through Metal Gear Solid V. I just beat Chapter 1 and for a moment thought I had beat the entire game!! But nope, I think I'm only halfway through.
@KratosMD I just started GoW Ultimate on the one X and I don't seem to have the compatibility issue that I mentioned before. Google said it was something to do with contrast being off wack or something, maybe to do with HDR. I'm playing on a 4k monitor without HDR so maybe that's why I'm not experiencing any issues. Just finished the first act! Probably wont get to play again until the end of next week anyway as my girlfriend is now off work(ing from home) until after Easter so we will probably carry on with our metal gear solid marathon (next game is portable ops which we will play on the ps TV)
Played through Streets of Rage 4 twice today, once on easy and then on normal. This game is everything and more for someone like me who grew up on the SoR series. The call backs to the other games in the series were great, gameplay is just as good as the games too. The graphics took a bit of getting use to but fit for a SoR game in modern times. Really looking forward to sinking more time into this game the next few days.

@BrilliantBill Yes you can. @JaxonH did that with his brother. I never played the game so I don't know first hand but I remember him posting that and though that is pretty cool.

Yup, like Tasuki said, I was able to cross play with my bro, and even though I didnt know it at the time, you can even party chat cross platform using Xbox Companion App on pc.
Btw I played some Streets of Rage 4 on Switch yesterday. That game is everything I hoped it would be. It's hard though. I'll definitely be needing to play on Easy, cause Normal I can't get past the 2nd stage.
Started some Gears Tactics on PC, and I think I've found one of my new fave strategy games. It's really excellent. It's like Gears was designed to be a tactics game.
And still playing Trials Rising on PC (I know it's not "Xbox" but I kinda view Xbox/PC as one larger platform, it's all in the MS ecosystem). What sucks is I beat the game on Switch, then had to beat it again on Switch Lite because it's one of the few games that don't support cloud transfers, and now I'm beating it again on PC. It's such a great game though. I dont mind replaying it over and over. Just trying to unlock all the tracks in each version. The extreme tracks are about as much as I can handle. Just getting to the finish is challenge enough- forget the medals. Although I never did beat Inferno V to unlock the Ninja tracks. It's just too hard for my skill level.

@Tasuki SOR4 was well worth the wait. Completed it on normal last night (though I had to go online for multiplayer to beat the last boss, really difficult on my own, though I think I’ve figured out how to do it now. I really like the new art style, it just brings something new to the series. Love the nods to previous games, even a few cheeky ones to the fan remake from a few years back...

@Gamecuber Yep SoR4 is definitely going to be in my top 5 games of 2020 list. Definitely worth the wait. I was a bit afraid at first that it was going to end up like a Mighty No. 9 but in all I would say it came out like Mega Man 11.
The first day I played it for 10 hours straight (been awhile since I could do that with a game). Beat it first with my son on easy then we went back and did it on Normal, after that we tried Arcade mode and the battle mode then went back to trying to improve our grades in each level, still quite not sure what the criteria is but I am sure I will figure it out.
Definitely a must have for any retro gamer fan and of course any SoR fan.

@Tasuki my son’s a little too young for SOR at the moment (we’re playing through Sonic at the moment on my old Mega Drive). I’ve put about 5 hours into SOR4. Great fun so far!

Wow, this takes me back, and wow, it's still bloody brilliant. For me personally, MW2 is the last COD campaign I thought was genuinely great, a bona fide 10/10 (although I do think MW3 was still pretty good, too). Short it may be, but there are so many good moments crammed in to those brief five hours, from the snowmobile escape to chasing Rojas through the favela to storming the gulag to the boat chase finale, all to Hans Zimmer's superb score. While I enjoyed last year's reboot - arguably the best new COD of the generation - no COD has come close to matching MW 1 and 2. I think Infinity Ward losing half of their team in 2010 really hurt the series, and try as they might, neither Treyarch's nor Sledgehammer's efforts have ever quite won me over.
Hats off to Beenox, though. They've done a grand job with the remaster, and there's some lovely HDR if you're playing on X. Bring on Modern Warfare 3 - Remastered.
