@Balta666 ok sounds good. I get your criticisms. Lots of 3d platformers back in the 90s were pretty bland by today's standards. That's why I can't understand the flack mario 64 gets. It still holds up tremendously well, even by today's standards. The camera is finicky, sure, but the actual gameplay is one of the best out there, and it was pretty much the first to do it.
@NintendoByNature for sure about SM64. To me it was the first 100/100 game ever made and always fun to go back. I always miss when 3d platformers do not give you interesting objectives so you can go and explore.
@Balta666 absolutely. It's on an island of its own for that time period. There's no other 3d platformer of that time that can stand toe to toe, and that's including the crash games, banjo, etc. Crash is a lite 3d platformer but still.
