@ralphdibny There's no need to buy the booster pack if you play globally online. The DLC tracks are included in the rotation automatically without you needing to own them.
@LtSarge nope just the Wii U version plus that DLC, never double dipped!
Nearly have done since the new DLC came out though
That's a hot tip though so cheers anyway. I think id just buy the DLC anyway because I don't really play online and it would cost the same to buy the NSO sub
Normally on MK, I like to go through the cups and just get gold on everything to complete it!
@NintendoByNature I also played s a bit (beat the first boss). It is ok so far but not that big on the dialogues (have to say for a roguelite Hades is my standard as narrative...).
I don't think you can keep the ones you pick and they are pretty much scrap to upgrade. P.s: after the Uzi there's is a shotgun that is quite cool!
@Balta666 sweet. I'm excited to see the shotgun. I think you just bring back weapons which can be recycled into better weapons? I will say, I tested the uzi, and it's going to work wonders. I get what you're saying. It's a "good" time so far. Not a great time. But, I'll see this one through.
Rolled the credits just now. It really grew on me after the first hour or so. Loved taking new guns back to the base and recycling them for bigger, and badder weapons. I maxed out everything from the robot, and bought everything on Gregg's list( funny name 😄). I almost never used melee weapons though just because it was best to stay far away from enemies. Personally, I'm not the biggest rogue-like fan, but this game does it right. Dare I say, I actually enjoyed this much more than hades? I know I know, BLASPHEMY! But really, it was funny, quirky, and I loved the gameplay. Just WL'd Tax Evasion now. Hoping it comes back to GP, or I'll just grab it on discount.
Made a start and seems pretty fun. I don’t really have much experience with this genre so I’m not sure what to expect. Using the right stick to aim is definitely taking some brain rewiring 😂
We’re playing The Plucky Squire this month, join us!
@Bundersvessel it takes some getting used to. Not my typical genre either. Using the right stick gets much easier with automatic weapons. Take guns back with you, and recycle them for better guns with unlimited ammo.
Game finished. As far as roguelites go I am not much of a fan and this does not have much of different. However is fairly short so it is easy to swallow
Hey all, new here, really enjoy the idea behind a video game book club. I'll be honest this isn't the only game club I'm in, but I find myself on PX a lot anyways, so seemed sensible to jump in.
Sadly,I don't have much to add for this month's game. I played ... Rob's a Bank for a couple hours but really wasn't enjoying the gameplay loop. Objectively it was solid, had everything a person might want, I think it's a me-issue. Moved on to Blasphemous instead xD.
Side question, is there a discord for this community or anything? Or has there ever been an event like a group chatroom/video call ever?
@gingereno42 hello and welcome! Do you want to be added to the tag list to be able to know first hand about the new games and vote?
Although I have finished the game I share a lot of your feelings about it. The genre is something that is very much a 50/50 for people to get into it. I never played Blasphemous but as both a fan of platformers and Souls is definitely on my list.
About your other question the truth is that so far this forum topic is the only point of access as a group (not counting that some people share their profile on Xbox itself). Personally I am not even sure if there is any channel from Pure Xbox or the rest of the family of sites.
