This Monday Night Raw will be a legends night when Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and Ric Flair host Raw. I could do with out Hogan since they just had him but it will be nice to see Hall and Michaels, too bad they don't have Nash or Xpac for a Kliq reunion.
Kevin Nash will be there. Apparently his recent legal troubles (domestic dispute with his son over the new years) got cleared up which is why he wasn't going to appear.
I am getting ready to watch my first live WWE PPV for about 10 years. I usually watch them the next day, but I love the Royal Rumble and my US WWE Network sub is in the house so...why not, I say?
Isn't like I'm not up until 4am anyway.
Haven't watched any of the build up or anything. No idea which matches are due. Just going to sit back and enjoy pure surprise.

Build up hasn't been that great You can pretty much be fully caught up w/ WWE by just watching the PPVs.
I really enjoyed watching the Authority lose control of Brock, I was waiting for this moment since they "thought" they could deal with him and keep him under control. Again another great performance by Paul at the end coming down the ramp with Brock. His expression on his face just said it all like, Hey you thought you can controll Brock I am the only one that can control him.

Also forgot to add it was nice seeing the Kliq giving Triple H a hard time about his excutive job, that had me rolling. Also really liked the APA reunion.

So I am not sure if this is true or not but a co-worker of mine was saying that he read that this year's WM will have Wyatt Vs Undertaker and next year's WM will be Undertaker VS Sting in a retirement match. Again not sure if its true or not but I can see that happening.

The rumor has been if Undertaker competes this year it'll be against Wyatt. That is why they have been booking Wyatt strong supposedly.
Who do you guys wanna see win the Royal Rumble? Bryan?
So... I haven't watched WWE regularly since the Austin/Rock days, but I've heard a lot of people are unhappy about the Royal Rumble. What were people expecting that didn't happen?
The Royal Rumble used to be my absolutely favorite match. I also liked the Survivor Series tag matches.
The Divas match was pretty embarrassing, for my money. Just such a poorly worked match, and then ended with a weak punch. It's like the Attitude Era Divas were all for nothing. Any Stratus vs Lita match would walk all over anything any fighter in the Divas division has done in the last ten years.
Opening with the New Age Outlaws was pretty cool. Got me in the mood for the rest of the show, for sure.
Championship match had a decent pace to it. Good fun to watch. Lesnar practically being killed by Rollins' elbow was hilarious, given that Rollins barely touched him. Then again, he did jump back in after about 20 minutes of being dead, so maybe he was playing possum?
The Rumble match itself was a complete embarrassment. No flow to it. No pace. Erick Rowan turned up and beat down a competitor before he could get to the ring, causing the commentators to keep shouting "Rowan's not even in this thing! He's not in the Rumble! He didn't qualify!" only for them to then just apparently accept that he'd taken the other guy's spot. Kinda made the whole "qualification match" thing into a waste of time.
DDP and Bubba Ray making a return was awesome. Loved that. DDP is one of my favourites, no doubt.
The worst thing about that Rumble match though, wasn't the eventual victor. It was HOW he won. A Royal Rumble where you have Old Man Kane, Big Slow, and Roman Reigns in as the final three? I can't think of anything more unbelievably boring or predictable. The second they were down to three, I was sat here saying "Yeah...so Reigns wins this easily."
Absolutely no pop to it. Shame, as the rest of the show was pretty cool.
(And they really need to start using Mizdow properly. )
Tuned into Raw for the first time in a long time just to see the replay of the triple threat match people were talking about. Great stuff. I thought Rollins was good before I stopped watching, seems like he's become outstanding since then.

Daniel Bryan was a surprising non-factor in the Rumble. He was eliminated before like the 16th guy came out.
Some thoughts on last nights Raw. I loved how they tiptoed around Reigns being hand picked and that he isn't ready for a main event but we all knew they would do that. I am sure that WWE will work something out from this mess.
The newest Hall of Fame entry is a complete joke. After hearing who it is I am now debating on watching it. If I do it will only be for Macho Man and after that I will change the channel.

Who is being put in besides Macho Man?
Please tell me it's Stevie Richards or The Blue Meanie.
