All people like movies in some capacity, right? Well, let's talk about them! Whether you have a recommendation or just want to discuss your displeasure for a particular film, let's use this space to do just that (keep it free of spoilers, of course).

Since I'm the one who started this topic, I guess I'll get things in motion.

A couple days back I finally got around to watching Safety Not Guaranteed on Netflix, and I have to say, I really quite liked it. It's definitely not going to be a movie for everyone, but it's a darn good little dramedy with a lot of heart. If you're a fan of Mark Duplass or Aubrey Plaza this is surely something you should check out.

Then last night I went back in time a little further and rented State of Play which was also a solid flick. There were a couple cliched plot twists, but in all it was an effectively tense political thriller. A sure recommendation for fans of the genre.

That's all I've got for now, which means it's your turn!

Well I saw Thor: The Dark World yesterday and I have to say this one I enjoyed as much as the first one.  Of course Thor was my favorite solo Avenger movie.  This one doesn't disappoint either the special effects are just as good as the first one the story was top notch and of course Loki freakin rocked lol.  If you enjoyed the other Marvel studio flicks you will enjoy this one alot.  Just remember to stay after the credits.

That's great to hear! Thor was also my favorite Avengers flick, so I'm pretty pumped for Dark World -- I'm not big on going to the movies or I would've seen it already. Maybe I'll suck it up and go this holiday weekend.

Saw Ender's Game a few days ago and I'm not sure if it's because I never read the books but I just couldn't get into it and I usually like sci-fi. I think one the problems was that, like with everything else these days, there's a lot of political and moral commentary in the movie and I could just do without that nonsense sometimes.
