The site's been in a bit of a rut as far as activity goes lately. It's lost steam and it should make a comeback. Advertising can help. Nintendo Life and Push Square have been prospering lately, and I hope you guys do too. One thing I've noticed is both of them have been having a bit of a sensationalist style lately, but I hope you guys don't resort to that. It's kinda sad. You guys in particular are more open-minded with things, and it seems the other sites are selling out towards fanboys a bit for activity every now and then. Preference is fine, but they even start to mock the other brands a bit or have hardly any alternate perspective. I believe that Facebook is a good way to go. Advertising towards those who have liked the Xbox page could attract new visitors. Good luck.

For what it's worth, the other sites have more news to put out, simply because Nintendo and Sony have portable platforms as well as their consoles. There's only so much XBOX-only news you can put out there.

Sensationalist Style articles on Nintendo Life?? Huh, well I don't think that at all. Nintendo had loyal followers who respect the quality of their product, and good sites that discuss the pro's and con's of the company prosper when the info is engaging. I was an Xbox and 360 day 1 adopter, but 9 360's later and nothing but Dudebro games that can't be found on the current Sony platform gives me absolutely no reason to buy the system. Plus the community is too busy shooting each other online to car about these type of sites. I was only on the site to see if it was still a desolate place in terms of the community aspect, sadly it still is. I love reading Dudebro gamers discuss "gaming".

There was one article discussing conspiracy theories that Ubisoft cancelled the Wii U version of Watchdogs, which is quite paranoid. I'm probably not sticking with Xbox next gen by the way, and I have a 3DS which I enjoy. I respect Nintendo, but not to a fanboyish extent to deny the Wii U wasn't what it promised itself to be. And I'm no dudebro gamer in case you wanted to know. Just thought that I'd mention generalizing people is rude. I don't go around calling Nintendo gamers kids like some Xbox fanboys. But for having an Xbox 360, I'm called a "dudebro gamer." Real kind. I feel like I'm on IGN. I like NLife's community minus the occasional fanboy, which are far less common than on most news sites. Sure, some people there act like every AAA 3rd party dev is the devil and are carbon copies of EA, but they're alright. I can see why some people dislike the Xbox (the RROD sucked), why do have to stereotype me as a fanboy? Can't people have an opinion? I don't go around pretending Pokemon isn't a game. But you do this to Halo, Skyrim, and Mass Effect fans. Gears of War's overrated, but that's not what all Xbox gamers are into. I'm not. Thanks for generalizing me and everyone on the site. I really appreciate it.

This post highlights why the NLife community is a joke.

I'd say some. Yeah, this guy's cynically stupid, but I've seen my share of smart people on that site. I kinda wish a merger happened between the 3 NLife sites. That way, fanboyism would be harder to pull off. It could turn to flame wars though. Game Informer is an integrated site of PS, Nintendo, & Xbox, and the community gets along well. But IGN contradicts that severly.

I'd rather they stay separate. The less I have to deal with snobby Nintendo slaves the better.

Zodiak - We don't do the whole "12 year old fanboy who blindly buys anything with our favourite company's logo on it" thing here, so please take that attitude and stow it. I'm not a "dudebro" and own and play all of the current and last-gen systems. If you're bored, go and play a game, rather than attacking those that choose to play games on platforms that you don't necessarily enjoy.

Please also be aware that if you continue to try to insult us, you'll be banned from this site. That means that you'll be banned automatically on Nintendo Life and Push Square, too.

We are making a return, my friend. Various things have caused the site to be barely alive, but March 3rd will see our comeback begin.

Yes! I may not go Xbox next gen but there are a few upcoming games on my 360 I intend to get, like MGS: Ground Zeroes. Regardless of whether or not I get an Xbox One, I'm interested in Halo 5 and would like to see how it turns out. You guys are good so it'll be nice to see you back.

I'm probably not going to get an X1 for a long time, if ever, but I enjoy the work that the team at this website does so good luck with the re-launch, hope all goes well.

I'm still trying to decide which next-gen system I'm going to get.  I have a feeling my 6-year old son will want a Wii U for Christmas this year, so I think it's down to the XBox One and PS4.  I was leaning towards the PS4 the last couple weeks, but for whatever reason, the XBox One is right back in the thick of things.  Either way, I've posted at Nintendo Life and Pushsquare in the past.  I really hope the relaunch here goes well because it's a nice setup.  I'll be checking in for sure while I make my next-gen decision.

Depends on the exclusives. X & the next Zelda make the Wii U tempting. Then there's all of Sony's exclusives. Then the Xbox One also has Halo 5 & stuff. The choices...

All 3 companies have been a little slow with the first party exclusives so far though. Now to be fair to Sony and MS both companies just launched new consoles. That's not the case with Nintendo though and I'm disappointed there's been absolutely no talk about a Zelda specifically for Wii U yet.

Eiji Aonuma, the Zelda producer, is supposedly going to announce Zelda U at this year's E3.  It's been rumored for awhile.  I think that's why they've been so quiet.

I absolutely cannot wait for that. E3 is going to be huge this year, even without any new hardware!

Yes it is!  I still haven't decided on a next-gen console, and I may end up waiting for E3 to make my final decision.  I have a feeling this year's E3 will be really good.

By the way, congrats on the relaunch of PureXBox!  I'm glad to see things are back in motion!
