We've got just one month left for Xbox Game Pass in 2024, and we're coming off a month that was always expected to be a massive one for the service - after all, November gave us Stalker 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024!
Unfortunately, both of those titles launched with issues, but it's not like there wasn't fun to be found anywhere else - we also got the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Aliens: Dark Descent, Nine Sols and even a couple of Starcraft PC games!
We shouldn't avoid mentioning Metal Slug Tactics and Goat Simulator: Remastered as well, and those who are subscribed to Game Pass Standard specifically were treated to seven extra titles throughout the month.
You won't find those Game Pass Standard entries in the poll below, but we've put everything else in there - which adds up to nine additions. There are some real biggies in here, so we're keen to hear your favourite overall!

Yet to play stalker but I know that’s will be my favourite.
A for this month as it is a strong lineup
Not a bad month, but Stalker being so busted out the gate was a disappointment. Will come back to it when patched and in a better state. Played a bit of Nine Sols and loving it, but playing a couple of other things first.
Spyro Trilogy, without question.
This is a Game Pass A. Stalker, Nine Sols, Flight Sim, Metal Slug, and Spyro are all fantastic additions, high quality, and then StarCraft for PC. There’s really no misses here. Best month on Game Pass since potentially those early launch months for me. I went back to Game Pass after not having it for most of the year too, so I’m typically harsh on the value of the service.
For me, I’ve yet to invest much time in either of them, but Nine Sols and Stalker are both highly interesting games. I think Nine Sols will get my vote though.
It was a great month for gamepass. The incredible thing is that it was sandwiched between months with black ops 6 and Indy. In the end it might end up being the better month.
Back to flight sim.
Stalker 2 for sure, 27 hours in now and still only one minor bug
I only gave it a B as most of the games are not in my wheelhouse … I picked 9 sols as that was the one I played the most but enjoyed Spyro
Not sure Stalker is for me but will return at some point. Have really enjoyed playing Spyro with my boy - was a great surprise to see that in Gamepass so that gets my vote.
Have a feeling Nine Sols might be my kind of thing when I get around to playing it.
Fantastic month for me. Hard to choose between Stalker 2 and Nine Sols as my favorite. Stalker has been playing just fine on my Series X and it’s great so far.
Flight Simulator is also impressive after the rocky start it got off to.
GamePass rocks!
Definitely an A, look at what you get on either subscriptions! Old games and nothing but old games, being able to buy your subscription from 3rd parties makes it amazing value.
I was initially excited for Stalker 2 but unfortunately it launched in such a broken state on the verge of being unplayable and the update yesterday and today has only been like applying a bandaid. For every fix there seems to be a new bug added to the game like getting black screen when you try to open your pda / map and npcs are now randomly dieing in Zalissya when they try walking through a doorway.
So Spyro takes the crown for November's gamepass additions.
More Activision games next month please!
It was a B for me Spyro was the best game!
Metal slug is the only one I played. I've owned Spyro for a long time, and the others aren't my style (I may try 9 Sols). But there was something for everyone this month
On Console Spyro, on PC StarCraft 2.
Stalker 2 for me, but Nine Sols is a close second. And I’m very pleased with how fast the patches are coming in for S2.
Surprised by how many people never played the Spyro trilogy.
Utterly awful month for me. Ended up playing one game that was broken at launch, and nothing else.
Obviously Nine Sols with Metal Slug: Tactics coming in at second place.
Can't speak about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl since I still want to play through S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl(and clear up more of the backlog) before I install it.
The rest of the additions this month felt pretty meh to me except maybe Aliens: Dark Descent.
Flight Simulator 2024 for me. Sure, it had a rough launch (what doesn't these days, it seems), but the potential for the future is awesome.
I’m about halfway through the first Spyro game and it’s been a lot of fun.
Tried Stalker 2 and it’s just not for me, even aside from the technical/audio issues I encountered.
Metal Slug for sure, fantastic TRPG in the vein of Into the Breach, with the incredible Metal Slug animation style. Stalker 2 might be great once they fix it.
Might try Spyro when my kids are a little older, looks good for children.
Loved revisiting Spyro. I still think Xbox have missed a trick not updating these Activison platformers before dropping them on Game Pass. However, it has fairly slow pacing anyway so it's not as big of an issue as I imagined.
Loved metal slug. I’ve been looking forward to that for years, so it was a nice surprise. The others weren’t really in my wheelhouse, yet we shall see.
