@Wilforce as much as I am looking forward to B4 i would maybe wait on reviews of the switch 2 version.

While most prelaunch previews for the game have been positive for the pc, ps5 & series consoles the exception has been the switch 2 previews. A lot of folks have said it ran very poorly on the switch 2.

Obviously they are playing a prelaunch version and its possible that these issues have been fixed. Personally I wouldn't have preordered if I was on switch & would certainly check the launch review first.

Hopefully its all good for launch and we all have a fun time whatever platform we play on.

Preordered the Super Deluxe edition and I cant wait to get stuck into this game.

Outer Worlds 2 Premium Edition already preordered. Between this Borderlands 4 & Path of Exile 2 I am good for the remainder of 2025.

Only other game I have an interest in is Project Motor Racing but that is one that I will have see reviews of the Xbox version before I buy.

I don't enjoy the Hitman games and I don't think putting a Bond skin on it will change anything for me.

Not that I play CoD but this seems like it should have Jason Statham in it and bonus points if he is wearing a silly uniform.

Roadcraft is definitely something I am interested in trying but I just won't have the time for at least a couple of months.

Only interested in playing Borderlands 4 this month. Everything I have seen in the previews makes me think I will be playing this game for a long time.

At some point down the line I might pick up Dying Light The Beast but that is a future sale purchase for sure.

I enjoyed playing through this game. I thought it did a decent job of capturing the movie franchise vibe not as good as the recent Robocop games but good enough.

That said I do think Terminator Resistance offers a much better game play experience than its Robocop counterpart. Certainly worth a punt at that price.

Played through the demo & the game seems to be good at what it does. Unfortunately what it does is not something I personally enjoy. I imagine folks more into this sort of game than me will find it a fun & rewarding experience.

Nothing for me here but I will be deep into Borderland 4 from the 12th so I don't care too much.

Path of Exile 2 beta 0.3 update and will probably be playing this almost exclusively till the launch of Borderlands 4 in a couple of weeks.

Lots of changes, lots of things to try and a whole bunch of builds I want to try to make work .

Fun times ahead for me.

No but that is because I didn't enjoy the game to begin with so never had any interest in dlc.

(More excited for the second dlc for Atomfall and will for certain play that once I am done with Borderlands 4 of course)

@Scummbuddy it might be they used the xbox app to force an install. It's a thing you can sometimes do with games on series consoles

Microsoft (or anyone to be fair ) can show whatever they want with regard to a handheld device and its all irrelevant to me. I simply have no use for it and will never have a need for a hand held gaming option.

Not a single game of interest but no worries. I already have my gaming plans mapped to late November with some substitutes in case release dates shift.

I am continuing on with my third playthrough of Stalker 2 this time with added mods for more immersion. Even though this my third go at this game I am still finding & seeing things I somehow missed previously. Its one of the many reasons I enjoy this game and why I keep coming back to it.

Don't see myself playing anything else until next Friday (29th) when a substantial update for Path of Exile 2 drops.

Played through the franchise when I moved to series consoles this gen. Didn't enjoy the experience and have no wish to repeat even one step of it.

I hope folks who enjoy it have fun with Reloaded but yeah its a nope from me personally.

@Fiendish-Beaver For what its worth I gave up on the campaign in the second act. The issues mentioned in this review of the pvp part of the release are present in the campaign. It just didn't feel good to me when it came to the shooting and that sucked all the fun from the experience. I am not a pvp person & only downloaded this for the campaign so its was uninstalled fairly quickly

Oh just so folks know the campaign is an additional free dlc and isn't installed by default when you install the main Delta Force game.

Yeah no I just can't see any reason why I would need this (or any hand held gaming option to be fair.) Its not something I personally have ever had a desire for in all my gaming life.

All these game announcement over the past couple of days and the thing I am most excited for is a new league for Path of Exile 2 that was announced yesterday (not at gamescon).

As for gamescon specific news I am having a hard time finding anything to be excited for on any platform. Gamescon just left me feeling a bit worried about the lack of news for State of Decay 3 & Fable as @HeavyHoggJP mentions.

A big list of games that after scanning through the summaries I have exactly zero interest in.

I would give this a go if it was wireless but wired is a no go. Don't have a preference on stick placement and can comfortably use both options.

What usually messes me up when I switch between consoles is the X button placement but that is a me thing not a controller issue.

The Outer Worlds 2 (along with Borderland 4) are the only games I am really excited to play in what we have left of 2025. Preordered the premium edition of both games.

B4 is probably the most money I have spent on a single game in one go at £120 so I am not going to complain about any price for Outer Worlds 2..

There is no justice in the world if this doesn't come out with a remaster of the actual Fallout New Vegas game. It would literally print money for Microsoft on any platform they released it on.

I finished the main campaign of Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition after about 63 hours. The story certainly had a few slow bits but overall it was a fun & worth my time. There is a bunch of dlc with this edition but I think I need a bit of a change of pace before I tackle that.

So I started a modded play through of Stalker 2. The mods I have added are all aimed at adding to the immersion without taking away from the game play or making it any easier. Have to say I am really enjoying returning to this excellent game.

The usual, ignore the live broadcast and maybe checkout the PureXbox recap for the two games I have an interest in.

I might give the campaign a shot but I am pretty much done with multiplayer when it comes to this sort of game.

Doesn't matter to me either but I think we should have these discussions about more important aspects of controller design, like having hall effect sticks as standard.

I have lost many more controllers to stick drift than I have to power source issues (i can only recall a single PS4 controller with a charging problem in my entire gaming life.)

Great another weekend of clicking not interested on my YouTube feed.

I have no use case for it and see no benefit to owning this device for my own personal gaming habits.

@Coletrain The first two Mafia games are still the best of the series and if you want to ignore 3 then to me Old Country is a distant third (though as I said previously Mafia 3 offers better game play imo than Old Country.)

Story wise Old Country is pretty good though the ending seemed rushed. A lot of the game is stealth based, all the "boss" fights use the same mechanic and to me that just didn't feel good.

It looks fantastic and I didn't have any technical issues but overall I thought they missed the mark by a pretty big margin.

Its a short very intense story with many cut scenes. However in terms of actual game play I consider this one the worst mafia franchise game released even worse than the third one.

I would certainly recommend waiting on a deep discount sale for this one.

@Hawklord22 Mods are available on Xbox. It's nothing too complex at the moment with just simple stuff like changing day night cycles, adjustment to gun ballistics and stuff like that.

Everything has to go through a testing process before it's allowed on Xbox which I expect slows mod releases down. Still I hope we see more substantial mods in the future.

Oh cool its good to see a dev team prepared to put in the work to give their players the best experience possible.

I just started a new modded play through on the hardest difficulty. The mods i have installed are for things like a longer day night cycle, more blood and just basically anything that adds to immersion without affecting the gameplay (so no infinite inventory for me.)

The game is just as intense and fun as I remember from my previous run.

@Romans12 it has difficulty options so you can tone it down a bit but having just tried the demo on normal its not that bad. This seems doable to me assuming the demo is actually representative of the full release.

That said I am not going to buy as this style of game just isn't my cup of tea.

Not interested in either of these & I find it somewhat annoying that isn't an option in the poll.

I find it amusing that folks say Motorsport doesn't do anything different but give Horizon a pass for offering the same events, race styles and even repeat dlc. Literally the only thing that changes between Horizon games is the scenery.

I fully admit I am mostly done with open world racing games and much prefer closed track racing. So I hope they don't give up on the Motorsport franchise and give it another go.

Oh cool Gothic 1 Remake lets go. Wishlisted this game as soon as I had the option so it will be good to take a peek of what they have so far.

Played it on Ubi+ after not getting on with the Star Wars game. Its not bad but not that good either with nothing that's going to blow your socks off.

@Fiendish-Beaver Seems to be a good chill game to play on the side, for me at least. I am in no rush to level and just enjoying the experience.

I also started playing New World Aeternum. It's not been horrible (global chat aside it's an mmo afterall). So many options for things to do besides just killing stuff.

I have been busking with a mandolin for instance. You play a simple - ish guitar hero style mini game which gives other players in range buff strength of which depends on how well you play and they can give you money for your performance.

I probably won't go deep into end game raids and all the PvP stuff but the journey so far has been quite entertaining & fun.

Still play Destiny 2 but on my PS5 and that's only because they give away all the dlc on PS Plus.

I enjoy playing it for a week or two, taking a break for a couple of months, rinse & repeat

I will give this a try once it's a full release out of early access / game preview.

I already broke that particular personal rule this year for Path of Exile 2 and I kind of regret it.

Don't want to make the same mistake for Grounded 2 and spoil the release

I am struggling to find a PS5 game I want to play on my PS5 let alone one I would get for my Series X instead.

At the moment it's a GT7 console for the most part which will never be ported.

Only other game I play a reasonable amount on PS5 is Destiny 2 and that's only really because they give away the dlc on PS Plus.

If a game doesn't have a release date or that date is more than two months away then nope I don't get excited for any game including HK Silksong

I won't score it as I only played a couple of hours but it's certainly not a game for me. I expect folks who like souls games will find some fun.
