Re: Talking Point: Four Years On, Did Halo Infinite Ever Live Up To Expectations?

GuyinPA75

Basing my answer on from what I remember, Infinite was supposed be a platform that was to be supported for 10 years with story content, etc.

From that aspect I say Infinite failed horribly.

Then factor in I played hardly any multiplayer at all because I found it terrible. Halo 4 Big Team Battle the only Halo I ever enjoyed. So not even the multiplayer redeemed the game for me.

Re: Netflix Is Buying Warner Bros. For Even More Money Than Xbox's ActiBlizz Deal

Netflix been trying get in the gaming world with seemingly nonstop failure. Guess just buying a successful catalog they believe will bring success. If handle it and continously drop the ball like Microsoft. It won't.

As side note, really hope people wake up and stop embracing digital so much, and get back to physical. This is first step in gatekeeping catalogs.

In not too distant future, if want watch or play anything, you will have check what, studio/developer has it, then find the overpriced streaming service, then see if subscribed, or if want to add yet another overpriced subscription to your budget. All that hassle. Just to watch or play whatever it is wanted to in first place.

Re: Destiny 3 Is Apparently In 'Extremely Early Development', Should Still Launch On Xbox

@NeoRatt You may not know this. But....

Bungie wanted to create a Halo MMO (early screenshots can be found online) but Microsoft said not going to happen. So bungie threw a fit and left.

Playing destiny, at least I could tell and feel, is straight up reskin of that Halo MMO. Lot gunplay and weapons, enemies and their movement and attacks. Felt just like big rehash.

Probably bungie just wanted to not waste the production cost and changed the world and lore to something new. Called it destiny. Rest is history (in how to ripoff your fanbase and nickle and dime them).

I'm a star trek fan. But did anyone else try star trek online and were totally lost?

The map on the starbase thing I had no idea where I was, where needed go. The starship upgrade system I was lost. Starship combat I was lost. Getting and selecting and activating and choosing quests I was lost. Was just lost at anything. Really bummed me out.

I play elder scrolls online, so I'm not completely ignorant to MMO type games. But star trek online? Goodness. Thought all interfaces were just absolutely terrible and not intuitive in any way.

@OldGamer999 I will forever despise pc gaming. Zero desire in constantly buying new cards, memory, motherboards, or whatever other nonsense just to play new game.

Console, put disc in, install disc (which still bothers me), then play the game, never have worry about getting new console for about 10 years.

Simple. Easy. And it works. No need for second mortgage get new graphic cards to play game that just came out.

@Runex2121 "expected to go along with the $50 a month gamepass sub.(future pricing)"

Be very careful even joking that. I still stand by my prediction that will be reality within next 2 years. Yet....

People here did not respect my opinion or thoughts on that and even insulted me. Which is very much against forum rules. But I end up being the one that could not post for like a week - - if you follow what I'm saying.

Can't make this stuff up. I really thought on being financial supporter for the site and display blue ribbon. But treatment like the above absolutely removes my goodwill.

Re: Sarah Bond Shows Off Where Microsoft Is 'Prototyping For The Next Generation Of Xbox'

@TDHorizon Gaming developer budgets are absolutely insane. They really need scale back costs to sensible and sustainable level.

First step to cost reduction is the voice acting. I could just as good a job, or better, as vast majority of what's out there now for lot less. If they are in doubt, absolutely feel free contact me for quality at reasonable and fair price. That is not sarcasm or bent funny. That is me being serious.

@WildConcept6 Game Pass mostly likely will hit very close to $40-$50 month by end of 2026. Only thing that might save that obvious price gouge is how many people left game pass (which I hope is ALOT - just on principle).

I would be significantly less against the price gouge (as I've said numerous times) if they offered a yearly price that had drastically reduced price it would be much better. $180 at most.

Ohhh, it feels just soooo good to be back guys and gals. Missed everyone!

@WildConcept6 The Series S was and still is a mistake. It holds the Series X back. And can argue Series S being the lowest common denominator across all consoles, it's holding this gen back from reaching full potential.

Before anyone jumps in saying it's the greatest console (and let's all be honest, it's because it's cheap) or whatever other reason they try to justify its existence. I'm talking about the technology of Series S. It's weak, it's flawed, and it was an completely unnecessary console. It's holding back this gen.
