It's Friday, and I hope you're all looking forward to the weekend, but before we get there, here's your daily fix of new Xbox games launching over the course of the day.

The headline act for October 9th is Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. Capcom's stellar 2024 RPG is getting its first major expansion today, and I'll be honest, it's sorta crept up on me. Personally, I'm a huge fan of DD2, and judging by the reviews, Dark Arisen is very good!

I'm afraid there's nothing for Xbox Game Pass today which typically would be a smidge disappointing, but after the week it's had, I'm not that fussed.

So, here's what launching on Xbox today (October 9):

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen (Series X|S, Cloud)

Experience enhanced gameplay. Embark on uncharted adventures. Enticing value for myriad additions. Together with your loyal Pawns, set off on an unparalleled adventure!

PAPERHEAD (Series X|S, PC, Cloud)

PAPERHEAD is a mix of a fast-paced movement boomer shooter and an adventure horror game, featuring a unique soundtrack.
