Looking for some cheap Xbox games in the latest round of Xbox sales?
There are actually well over 50 titles that fit this category at the moment, and a lot of them arrive as part of the massive ID@Xbox Mega Sale that began a few days ago. There are some unlikely gems in the mix as a result — titles that never normally get discounted to 90% off (or at least very rarely) — with examples including Golf With Your Friends, Zombie Army Trilogy & 4, TMNT: Splintered Fate, Soulstice and The Shadow Warrior Trilogy.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is also 90% off here in the UK, although it's 85% off in the US. Don't forget about Battlefield Hardline, which is getting delisted very soon, along with the returning 90% deal for Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition too!
We've decided to pick out some of the most notable 90-95% discounts in the table down below, but it's not the entire list, so you can find that by going over to XBDeals and sorting by "Discount" if you're interested (go to around page 20 to avoid all the "free" Game Pass listings!). You'll also see that the games in the list below are from the latest Xbox sales, but there are a few more older 90% discounts that are expiring on Tuesday, including for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and various Warhammer games.

It does my heart good to see TMNT get a specific mention. Splintered Fate is VERY good. Fantastic music, fun gameplay, great voice acting. There are some games in here I might pick up.
Is Mortal Kombat 1 beginner/incompetent fighting-game-player friendly? I suck at fighting games. Horrifically, absolutely, irredeemably bad at them. ...but with that said I also want to try to beat the snot out of people as Peacemaker.
Neat. Finally nabbed Leisure Suit Larry. That'll make for a few fun evenings. Nothing else here interests me except a couple I already own.
@Elbow Most fighting games nowadays are beginner friendly if you play offline. Its when you go online and play against others that its not beginner friendly. But if you want to play the story or against the CPU then yeah its beginner friendly depending on how you set the difficulty.
@Tasuki Hmm. I might bite. I definitely don't think it's something I'd play online. I'm one of those people who forget how to do even basic combos (like a hadouken for example) when pressured.
Been scraping up XB1 titles that I originally missed out on for the past month or so. Dead Island 2 was definitely dope. Cool gaming community, too! Then I picked up Gears 5. Can't really go wrong with GoW, imo. Just knocked out Code Vein. Not sure what to get next, tbh. Scrolled thru this a few times but I was like, "**** I already have XCOM 2 and The Midnight Suns".
