Welcome to your latest Xbox Game Pass update! The first drop of April is giving us four games across various Game Pass tiers, but three of them are only new to Standard members - whereas the other is new to everyone.
Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is the game that we're getting across Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Standard, while the other three are already on GPU and PCGP, but are new to the Standard tier.
Here's what's coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 3:

Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (XGP Ultimate, PC, Standard)
Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is the quintessential Borderlands 3 experience, featuring the award-winning base game plus all 6 content add-ons and the full collection of bonus cosmetic packs! Blast through multiple worlds as 1 of 4 Vault Hunters – the ultimate treasure-seeking badasses of the Borderlands.
All You Need Is Help (XGP Standard)
Play with friends or the online community in a quirky co-op puzzle game, where fluffy cube creatures team up to solve puzzles together.
Still Wakes The Deep (XGP Standard)
1975. Disaster strikes the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. Navigate the collapsing rig to save your crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality.
Wargroove 2 (XGP Standard)
Trouble stirs on the shores of Aurania. An ambitious new faction has unearthed forbidden relics capable of catastrophic consequences. But how far will they go to achieve glory? Take to the battlefield, sea, and sky with a cast of new Commanders, using your wits to wage turn-based war!

Four Games Are Joining Various Xbox Game Pass Tiers Today (April 3)
Or to put it another way, one 6 year old game arriving today on the Service the vast majority of us have... 😉
I've never played a Borderlands game before. Can you play it alone or is it co-op only?
Alone is entirely possible, @TuscanUK, and for the most part (from memory) it does not punish you for playing alone. I think I'm right in saying that the game gets slightly more difficult the more people that play it...
On the other hand, playing it alone is incredibly boring! It's a license made to be played in Co-op, but preferably Borderlands 2, the third opus being really mediocre, with "Bad Guys" without the slightest charisma and with forced humor that is anything but funny.
I had to get angry to finish this game, which I will never return. I prefer 10x restarting B2 the Handsome Collection. This is a pure Borderlands Gem!
Using maya in the thumbnail is quite a choice
I’ve never properly played a Borderlands game (aside from a quick blast of the first game back on XB360) - so look forward to giving it a try. I can’t believe the humour can be as bad as High On Life - one of the most annoying games I’ve ever had the misfortune of playing.
@Fiendish-Beaver yep. The last two months will see 17 games leave the service, with maybe half of that coming on new (at least to ultimate members).I think they are just going to lean heavily into this being primarily a first party subscription. I do look forward to the upcoming games though like clair 33 and of course silksong!
Expedition 33 is my most anticipated game this month, @FatGuyInLilCoat...
I might try Borderlands but I'm all for E33 this month.
@Feffster For me it was actually worse, and I didn't like High on Life.
