We've often noticed Bendy and the Ink Machine appearing in the Xbox charts whenever it gets a deep discount, which is a pretty impressive feat considering the Xbox One version came out seven years ago at this point!
It looks like it's about to get another second wind, as it's been announced today that the game is being "enhanced" for current-gen consoles. Bendy and the Ink Machine will release for Xbox Series X and Series S this May (exact date TBD).
Unfortunately, today's announcement didn't come with many details at all, so we don't know exactly what has been enhanced at the time of writing. There's also no word on whether it'll be a free upgrade or an extra payment for those who already own the game on Xbox (we're guessing it's the latter, but who knows?).
If you haven't come across Bendy and the Ink Machine before, it's a popular "puzzle action horror game" that's racked up "very positive" reviews on Steam and an Xbox rating of 4.5/5 based on over 1,000 user ratings on the Microsoft Store (US). It was also included in the recent Xbox "Spooky Sale" alongside 2023's Bendy and the Dark Revival.

I own all of the games, having bought them in a sale. They look really good, but I haven't got round to them just yet.
There's also no word on whether it'll be a free upgrade FOR an extra payment for those who already own the game on Xbox... I think this is a typo, @FraserG...
Can't see an enhanced version being worth splashing out for if you already have the Xbox One version (I won't be anyway).
It doesn't seem the kind of game that will benefit hugely from a current gen makeover.
Still, will be interesting to see what they do with it.
Hopefully freee upgrade as done the 1st but second is abit weird it's like it's goes blurry or doesn't run smooth when turning 😥
