Atomfall's Latest Xbox Update Apparently Fixes The Big Audio Bug

You may recall that Atomfall has been suffering from a "no sound" bug on Xbox (and PC in some cases) where the audio has been cutting out after a certain period of time, but today's new update apparently fixes that.

The update is classified as a "hotfix", and there's just one solitary patch note included as part of it:

10th April 2025 - Hotfix

Fixes

  • Resolved issues with audio dropping out

It's still very early days so we don't have any confirmed reports of whether the Atomfall sound bug is now permanently fixed, but developer Rebellion certainly seems confident about it. The update size on Xbox is just over 2GB.

Despite this pesky issue, we've had fun with Atomfall here at Pure Xbox over the past couple of weeks, and you've told us the same thing - in our Atomfall Pure Xbox poll, the majority of votes have given it a "Great" 8/10 score. If you haven't had a chance to vote yet, we'll throw that poll down below - we'd love to get your thoughts on it as well!
