Update []:
Well, this is a shame! FragPunk has been delayed indefinitely this week due to "unexpected challenges in in optimisation and adaptation", meaning the developer needs more time to bring the console version up to scratch.
It's said that the game will be released "as soon as possible", and that the team "deeply appreciates" the understanding.
Original Story: As listed in our next week on Xbox roundup this past weekend, we've got two big free-to-play games heading to Xbox over the next few days - the hero-based FPS FragPunk, as well as the mech shooter War Robots: Frontiers.
FragPunk is a brand-new release across all platforms, serving as a fast-paced 5v5 experience that promises no two rounds will ever be the same thanks to "Shard Cards" that customise the gameplay and offer near infinite possibilities.
War Robots: Frontiers has been on PC in early access form for years now, but it's finally getting a 1.0 release on March 4th, which is also when it'll make its debut for Xbox and PlayStation.
We'll throw more details about both of these games down below, and you'll be able to find them on the Xbox Store when they release. It doesn't appear that you'll need Xbox Game Pass to play either of them online as well.
War Robots: Frontiers (March 4)
Gear up for tactical mech action in War Robots: Frontiers, a free-to-play multiplayer mech shooter. Construct and customize your War Robots, squad up with other Pilots online, and fire up your engines in massive battles across the stars.
Experience the mechanical precision and power of War Robots. Pilot colossal war machines in online PvP battles, using tight team coordination and tactical gambits to edge out rivals. Push for all-out destruction in Team Deathmatch, fight for survival in Last Robot Standing, control points in Warp Rush, and rank up in Leagues.
FragPunk (March 6)
FragPunk is a fast-paced 5v5 hero shooter with powerup cards that change the rules of each round! No two rounds of FragPunk are ever the same. Discover over 100 Shard Cards with an activatable selection that changes every round creating new and unique combinations that create infinite possibilities! Cards can amplify your jump height, reverse the roles of attackers and defenders, engulf your bullets in flame or turn them into chain lightning, and even may resurrect you and your team!
Excited for either of these new free-to-play Xbox releases? Tell us down in the comments below.

Ah well ✌️

I think i will pass on these amazing games cough
Has anyone tried War Robots? It looks good!
Hey folks! Just dropping an update to this article to confirm that FragPunk has been delayed at the very last minute.
However, War Robots: Frontiers is now available!
Meh Fragpunk is seeming more and more dead on arrival all the time, would be reluctant to spend anything on it as it could well go the way of Xdefiant and many others.
