Atomfall has officially made its grand debut on Xbox Game Pass this week, and as many Xbox players are finding out, it's unfortunately suffering with a "no sound" bug that's been reported by a bunch of people on Pure Xbox and beyond.
The team at Rebellion will obviously get this officially fixed ASAP, but in the meantime, players have been sharing their tips of how to fix the no sound bug in Atomfall. We've seen all sorts of suggestions - here are a few examples:
In general, it seems that the best way to fix the Atomfall "no sound" bug is to close the game entirely and then restart it. On Xbox, you can do this by pressing the Xbox guide button, going to the "Home" screen, hitting the Menu button, and then scrolling down to "Quit". Then, just start up the game again.
We'll let you know just as soon as Rebellion provides an official fix for this bug in Atomfall, which hopefully won't be far away considering there are so many reports of it. Have you suffered with it too? Come tell us below!
Run into any sound issues in Atomfall? How have you got around it? Tell us down in the comments.

This bug has been plaguing my play through so far, it's hitting both as I'm getting into the game's flow, and when it's frustrating me. Neither is a great time to for a player to be turning the game off.
That sounds like a clear case of 'wait for patches' to me.
Played over six hours on a Series X. Last hour audio went twice and crashed back to system home screen once. I would hazard a guess this was known about before release but didn't have a fix in time. Personally am enjoying the game and it's the run of the mill day one few bugs Game Pass release. I should mention my last three years of Ultimate only cost £95 with stacking etc and at full price I wouldn't be using Game Pass Ultimate.
Happened constantly to me in the first 30 minutes. Finally got to the point where I decided to stop playing until its fixed!
@themightyant yeah there was a lot of posts on the atomfall sub yesterday about issues (most were on Xbox too) so it’s certainly a wait.
I played this for 20 minutes and I got the sound bug. Did nobody test? Seems egregious. I enjoyed the 20 minutes for what it’s worth.
I had this issue on what I believe it is the second auto save, less than 10 mins into the game before leaving the bunker. 1 min later, it crashed. Now I'm 1hr in and so far, so good. I'm enjoying the slow pace and some new mechanics (the game doesn't hold your hand, and the heartbeat factor is really interesting).
I read somewhere about the outdated visuals. It didn't offend me to be honest. It's not going to win any graphics awards but it's far from ugly
I only played for 45 minutes yesterday and didn’t have issues, but expect some today. If that starts happening I’ll definitely wait for a comprehensive patch!
Yet another F for Game Pass. It's only a matter of time till MS pulls the plug on the experiment that was a Gaming subscription service - way of the dodo it goes. Live-service/forever games win overall.
There is no comparison to forever games in Hollywood where a subscription model kinda works (sometimes). Not many people want to learn new game mechanics over and over (learning curve) with gaming sub games on rotation. You don't have to learn new mechanics to watch a new movie or tv show on a Hollywood sub.
Poor Phil: "I'll pay XX Million dollars to frustrate and annoy and disappoint 30-70% of my subscription userbase"
One day a game will launch on Gamepass and just work. One day.
Wouldn’t surprise me if indeed the Auto Save is messing something up. It’s insane but thinking back through to 360 so many games have had issues with auto saves, and many continue to release that way even in this generation. You’d think the companies would have that nailed down by now…..
Yeh sound bug here. Really annoying but still playing and enjoying it so far. Once this bug is fixed think it’s going to fit nice as a game pass game and I hope it does well
played for 8 hours had it happen 3 times
its the way games are now days if you play them when they come out you play the worst version
