Xbox Plans April Release Dates For Two Upcoming PS5 Ports

In recent months, Microsoft has announced PS5 versions of some of its biggest Xbox titles - but not many of them have actual release dates just yet. That's about to change though - because alongside Age of Mythology's arrival next month, Xbox is set to move two more games over in April 2025.

First off, let's talk Forza Horizon 5. This one has been confirmed as part of the team's recent information blowout on Horizon Realms; a major update coming to the open-world racer. The PS5 early access version arrives alongside 'Realms' on April 25th - with the standard edition then releasing a few days afterwards on April 29th.

However, that might not be it for major Xbox releases heading to PS5 in April. In a new 'notepad' article from The Verge's Tom Warren, it's said that Microsoft is also planning to move Indiana Jones and the Great Circle over that month as well. We don't have a nailed-on date for Indy just yet, but given that April is a little over a month away and the team said it was coming in Spring 2025, we're expecting Xbox to formally announce that one soon too.

With major Xbox titles now locked and loaded for PS5 in both March and April, Microsoft really is going full steam ahead with its new multiplatform plan. We maybe expected the team to spread these out a little more, but with games like Hellblade 2, Gears of War and Halo also rumoured to be moving over at some stage, they have plenty to pick from in the coming months and years.
