It's usually on a Tuesday or maybe a Thursday that Xbox unveils new batches of Xbox Store sales, but sometimes we get a few single deals sprinkled in along the way, and that's what's just happened with Red Dead Redemption 2.
There's nothing surprising with Red Dead 2 going on sale - it happens all the time. However, according to the fine folks at DekuDeals, it's now at its "lowest price ever" on the Xbox Store in loads of regions - down to just £13.74 / $14.99.
It goes without saying that this is one of the best games of the past decade in many people's eyes, and we're hoping it may even get an upgrade for Xbox Series X and S at some point - it's still stuck at 30FPS on those consoles!
We should mention the multiple options that are available for Red Dead 2 right now on Xbox - deals on the base game, the "Story Mode" and a bundle that combines both Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. All of these are either their "lowest price ever" or they match the previous low, depending on the region you're based in.
Some will question why anyone would have waited so long to pick up RDR 2 at this point, but we've seen it with GTA 5 consistently over the years - that game is still racking up tons of sales over a decade since it first released!

Well worth it at that price!
Red dead redemption 2 is the best game ever made and still runs amazingly on series x!
Full 4k 30fps the game is so good lack of 60fps should not put anyone off this is the goat of gaming!!
I bought Red Dead Redemption & Red Dead Redemption 2 Bundle
in sale a month ago for 40 bucks
I played and finished rdr 1 for the first time
Now I'm waiting for March 7th for Rockstar discounts
and I will get Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode and Ultimate Edition Content
I hope it will drop to 20 bucks.
Also Midnight club ,Max Payne 3 and GTA 4 for 23 dollars
Incredible game. Got to be worth a 2nd playthrough. Last one was on PS4 so I can only imagine how good a 4k upgrade looks.
Only question is if the Ultimate Edition is worth the hike to £17.99? (Not really worth worrying about at that price I suppose)
@Ricky-Spanish i couldn’t have said it better and it is my favorite game ever made. So you hit the nail on the head. I do wish it had a 60fps update. Or even a new release will all kinds of bells and whistles upgrade, I’d gladly pay for it. But it’s the best. I could only play RDR and Gears of War the rest of my life and still be an everyday gamer.
@HonestHick No game comes close to red dead 2 for me and yeah I'm the same love the gears games used to be ina clan in the multiplayer years ago proper try hard I was haha horde was so good to especially ina party of friends best gaming times they were🙆🧎
Oh yes that's a great deal. A really great game and more than worth it for that price.
I keep on wanting to play Red Dead Online, but I think that's a game you'd need a group of friends to play with so you have your own cowboy posse.
It's about time Rockstar made a 60fps patch for Series X/PS5.
