It was announced all the way back in 2022 that the Nintendo 64 cult classic Glover would be heading to Xbox at some point in the future, and it's now been confirmed that the release date (finally) is February 27th, 2025!
Based on what's shown off in the trailer above, it doesn't appear that QUByte Interactive has added any bells or whistles to the Xbox version of Glover aside from a resolution bump, so it should play exactly how it did back in the '90s.
For those who never got around to it back then, the game sees you taking control of a magical glove and ball in a primitive 3D platformer - one that racked up decent review scores for the N64 when it first released back in 1997.
We'll throw more details about Glover down below, and look out for it on the Xbox Store next week!
"The cult classic from the '90s returns! Glover is a charming 3D platformer where you control a magical glove on a quest to restore balance to the kingdom. Roll, jump, and manipulate your magic ball to solve puzzles, overcome challenges, and defeat the evil glove threatening the world!"

This one is right up my street!! Played it back in the day. It's well worth it if the price is right.
@Kaloudz Feel exactly the same. What do you think is a fair price for this? / What would you actually spend?
EDIT: I just looked up and saw there was a physical Limited Run version for $34.99 which seems WAY too high to me.
@themightyant Personally I'd go £15 (£20 at an absolute max). I think Night Dive - such as Turok, and (is it?) Aspyr price theirs perfectly.
Edit saw your edit. $35 / £30 is way too much.
God bless them trying to sell such and old game at that price good lord!
Wow. Pricy for a 25 y/o game ran through presumably an off the shelf N64 emulator
£30 for a straight port, absolutely cheeky and lazy without any better textures or lighting!
@Lrapsody @johnK @Ricky-Spanish @Kaloudz @themightyant Limited Run’s prices are always way higher than the digital version. I think they charged £25 for Doom 64, which costs like £5 on the Xbox store
Glover will be part of the QUbyte Classics line, and the other games in that series cost between £5 and £16, so Glover should be somewhere in that price range for the digital version.
Yes! Boys and Girls, Let’s go! What took them so long to do this?
On second thought, That price is ridiculous!
@JoakimZ That's much more like it. At that price (for just a res boost) I'll pick it up. Thanks dude!
