Unless you've been living under a rock these past few days, you've probably seen some of the speculation regarding Nintendo's next console plastered all over the internet. Yep, Switch 2 leaks are everywhere at the minute, and some fan investigation into matters has led to a Bethesda-related discovery that also seems to apply to Xbox.
Spotted at French retailer FNAC and shared on Reddit, multiple Bethesda game listings have been uploaded online across Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. The nature of the game isn't very clear - but Bethesda is named as the publisher alongside the number 11, which would suggest that the three listings are all for the same Bethesda title.
As you can see in the above Reddit post, speculation is rife about whether this relates to DOOM: The Dark Ages and/or the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct - but that's all this is at the moment; purely speculative chatter. One comment also adds there's more Bethesda games that have been discovered in these Switch 2 leaks; none of which are titled just yet.
Anyway, here at the PX offices we're struggling to think what exactly this could relate to - but we're intrigued, especially with that Xbox listing being present. It could relate to DOOM 64 getting a new release (the game was rated again by the ESRB recently), the much-rumoured Oblivion remake, a potential Fallout remaster - who knows! Hopefully, time will tell what these mysterious Bethesda listings relate to, maybe sooner rather than later.
Thoughts on this, folks? Talk to us about what you think this might be down below.

I’m down for Oblivion or a Fallout remaster for sure.
My son discovered Skyrim on my 360 yesterday. Lol. It blew his mind, basically. Sort of crazy such an old game feels like so much more to a little one than most current games, but so it is…
Probably DOOM. My guess is the developer direct will give us an official release date, or at least thats what this company is anticipating. If the rumored specs of Switch 2 are indeed comparable or close to Series S, this makes sense.
I mean, i wont be mad if its something else too. Intrigue!
DOOM Dark Ages or any other game, it will be day one on Game Pass, that's one thing for sure at least!
I’d be cool with any of these suggestions, so long as Bethesda themselves aren’t handling the ports/rerelease. The entire issue with Bethesda as a company is they have great ideas and piss poor execution. What the world needs is for the entire staff to be gutted leaving only the writing talent and then contract a competent studio to actually code the game properly for once. That way we get all the great ideas with none of the endless janky, bug filled, glitch ridden trash we usually end up with. Don’t think so? Just imagine a version of Oblivion or Fallout that isn’t falling apart at the seams and tell me that’s not a tantalizing thought.
@somnambulance I grew up playing it and now im 18 and the game still makes my jaw drop at the sheer amount of things to do in it.
I'd love for fallout 1 remake (not remaster) since never played that one. Fallout 2 also.
Oblivion remake be awesome too. Had waaaaaaay too many game breaking and game progression bugs that stopped me from finishing it. Well? What am I thinking. It's a bugthesda game. That's like saying, did you hear the sun is actually quite hot.
@Balaam_ I agree somewhat.
Using a compete obsolete engine not help at all. Nor does having a apparently nonexistent QA and testing department.
I am all about an oblivion remaster
@beltmenot Watching him play it… the graphics have started to age and so has the enemy AI, but it’s still beyond most modern games in scope and world building and just the pure freedom of playing it. I mean, Fallout 4 and Starfield didn’t even come close to it.
I hate to say it, but showing him how to play it for a few minutes made me sort of want to play it again. Lol.
Oblivion remaster. I doubt it's a remake but I'm playing it either way. Another 300+ hours of my life wasted away. Lol.
@somnambulance
Wow that is sooo cool. I am a father of 2 young kids as well. When playing retro games he was like wow! This is sooo cool. Inwas like huh? Yiu prefer this above high end games, nice! Haha.
@somnambulance it's always fun to see your kids discover things you loved when you were younger (and agree with you).
It's Oblivion, it's not a rumor, we know it's in development. They leaked it accidentally during the King acquisition trial. It'll be here this year 100%
I'm not too hopeful it's a remake/remaster of Wet.
Instant buy for me if it was though.
