Today, a couple of new video game appearances on the South Korean ratings board have us intrigued as to when these titles might show up again. First off, Konami's Silent Hill F has been rated in the region, alongside a long-in-development Xbox title - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
The latter has been stuck in some sort of dev hell for years now, with the game switching developers in recent times as well. The last we heard, Bloodlines 2 was planned for a 2024 launch, but of course that's now come and gone with no release in sight. Hopefully it's not too far off now that it's appeared here!
As for Silent Hill F, well, that's perhaps the more intriguing ratings board appearance. This is Konami's next mainline Silent Hill title — announced alongside the PS5-only Silent Hill 2 Remake — and details are super vague on this one at the moment. We don't even know if Silent Hill F is planned for Xbox yet, but it wasn't confirmed as PS5 exclusive like the recent remake was, so we reckon there's a good chance it shows up on the Microsoft platform.
Another thing we want to mention here, is Xbox Developer Direct. Yes, we know it's probably a stretch for Silent Hill to appear here, but it's not completely out of the question. Remember, Konami did say it was open to more series pitches following the reveal of Silent Hill 2, and there is a rumour going around that Xbox's surprise game of the show will be from a "legendary Japanese IP". Silent Hill would certainly fit the bill!
Thoughts on these new game ratings, PXers? Will Silent Hill 2 appear at the Xbox show? Talk to us down below.

It would certainly fit the bill, but I question whether (outside of the remake) this series even has any legs anymore. Or is that just me?
Would it be too bold to anticipate both of these showing up at direct? 🤔 Or at the very least, this year.
@Kaloudz This year feels a safe bet! I wouldn't expect Bloodlines 2 tomorrow but something about Silent Hill... after this rating I'm convincing myself it's gonna be the surprise 😅
My wife will be happy if it's shown tomorrow. She played the Silent Hill 2 remake recently and loved it.
@Kezelpaso I'd say it would be a safe bet. I mean it does seem to fit into place with the rumours. In regards to mainline releases from the series though, they've not had luck since (is it?) SH3? Unless you count PT. So this would really have to hit the right mark.
Oh god no please don't be silent hill, PlayStation can keep it. NINJA GAIDEN or I kill you!
Hasn't Silent Hill F been announced already, @Kezelpaso & @Kaloudz? I thought the secret game was unannounced, which would therefore exclude Silent Hill F from the running, wouldn't it...?
@Fiendish-Beaver Well... Xbox has been deliberately vague in its wording.
"visit a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game" nowhere does that explicitly say 'unannounced'. Brand new game could simply mean it's not a remaster or re-release...
Only time will tell but I think folks are maybe reading into it or mixing up the various reports with what MS has actually said!
Thank you, @Kezelpaso. That's cool. Not sure where I got the impression it was unannounced then! I'm looking forward to this evenings show. I don't remember which Silent Hill game I last played, but I do remember it being the creepiest game that I have ever played, so, if the secret game is not Gears of War related, then I hope it is Silent Hill as I need to test this old heart of mine and see if it can still cope... 😂
