The highly-anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign doesn't actually have a release date yet for any platform (aside from a generic 2025 window), but it's about to get a free network test very soon, and that includes on Xbox Series X|S!
Sign-ups for this beta / network test have officially begun today on the Elden Ring website, where you can pick Xbox as your preference. The full game will be available on Xbox One as well, but it's not an option for this specific test.
We've also got dates and times! Here's when the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test will be taking place:

For those who haven't been keeping track, Nightreign looks set to be quite different from the original Elden Ring experience because of its reliance on co-op - instead of going it alone, you can join forces with up to two other players.
That's obviously the reason for a Network Test this time around, which is great news for those who want to try the game early! The only potential downside is the demand - with so many people wanting to play, some may not get picked...
Will you be signing up for the Elden Ring Nightreign Xbox Network Test? Tell us in the comments below.

I'll have to check this out see if I can sign up!
It would be amazing to get to play an early build of the game!
Creating a new account on the website isn't working for me at least at the moment!
@Ricky-Spanish same here. Everything has ground to a halt.
@ChopperCampbell Probably too many trying at once or something oh well I'll try again later today 🤷
@ChopperCampbell It's working for me now I've signed up just have to wait on an email to see if I was chosen for the test!
Would LOVE to play this game and games like it.....when they finally put in an easy mode (or what is, normal mode, for any other game on the planet).
When they do this, I guarantee their sales go up at least 30% as well.
@GuyinPA75 This could be more up your street considering it's co-op!
Could be time to dip a toe into this genre!!
@GuyinPA75 They never will. Once you learn the mechanics most of the game won’t pose too much of an issue (there are a few well known sticking points in the base game). There are more than enough tools at your disposal to prevail in any encounter, and the more you understand how they want you to play, the easier it becomes.
I’d offer to do casual co-op or even some more serious sherpa’ing, but I only play Elden Ring on the Pro now (currently the smoothest console experience) and since there’s no cross play unless you have a PSN I wouldn’t be able to help.
