Treyarch and Activision have announced the next season of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, set to kick off on January 28th with lots of new content. Season 02 of Black Ops 6 will bring five multiplayer maps, a brand-new Zombies experience, new weapons and more to the Xbox Game Pass FPS.
Of those five multiplayer maps, three will arrive on day one whilst two are set to launch in-season - likely in late February, early March. One of those in-season maps — Grind — is an Xbox 360 Black Ops 2 classic, and speaking of fan-favourite features - the 'Gun Game' mode is also set to return during Black Ops 6 Season 02.
You can have a gander at the new Call of Duty content via the Season 02 trailer and the roadmap up above, which details some of what's coming to the Warzone battle royale as well. Of course, we know that classic Warzone map Verdansk is set to return this year - but recent rumours have pegged that as a Season 03 release at present.
We should learn even more about all of the content coming to Black Ops 6 Season 02 in the next few days, but we know for sure that the new season kicks off in less than a week - on January 28th, including via Xbox Game Pass.

Halfway past prestige 3 I’m still enjoying my daily dose of Call of Duty. Hope there are small maps as well, I mostly play faceoff playlists. You get addicted to the intensity at some point.
I put like 80 or 90 hrs into BO6. I really enjoyed it, but I've had my fill. I got into Prestige 2 or 3 and finished the campaign. I'll be good to jump back in again later this year with the new one.
I hope they bring back Stand off and Hi-jack loved those maps.
Really enjoyed this release on game pass. Would be good for added achievements for updates
Happy to see they’re bringing back Verdansk for Warzone, They should never have dropped it in the first place.
