Following a lengthy round of Xbox Insider testing, Microsoft has brought its refreshed Home Experience to all PC users today. The Xbox team says that this new UI makes it "faster and easier to find favorite games and discover great new titles to play" with Xbox on PC.
On the surface, this all looks and sounds very Game Pass-oriented, but Microsoft assures us that its new PC Home Experience also speeds up finding and accessing games outside of the subscription service.
"Home highlights featured content so players can stay up to date on game releases, new events, Game Pass content, sales, and more. There are also new curated collections and recommendations, deals and discounts,
While many players use the app to find and launch awesome titles from Game Pass, the Xbox app is also becoming a great way for players to find cool Xbox games that aren’t available with Game Pass."
Elsewhere, Microsoft is keen to highlight the "jump back in" feature - which enables players in 'Compact Mode' to click on any game card and jump right back into gameplay for a more seamless experience.
Finally, Xbox also wants to "thank all the developers and players who gave us great feedback on these updates", and says that "a variety of new features" will be tested over the next few months - as Microsoft continues to grow its Windows and PC Game Pass programs.
