The arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is arguably the biggest Xbox drop all year and if you were wondering at all - yes, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has also jumped in on the action.
After congratulating Activision's teams on their "phenomenal accomplishment" with the latest entry in the long-running series, he mentioned how he would be starting with the campaign and would then follow up with some zombies and multiplayer:
Phil Spencer: "Congrats to @Activision, @Treyarch and @RavenSoftware for their phenomenal accomplishment with. I’m going campaign first then Zombies and MP."
So far, the game has been well-received by critics. Here on Pure Xbox, we gave the Black Ops 6 campaign eight out of ten stars - calling it a big step up from Modern Warfare 3. Activision's teams have also announced the first free DLC map for Black Ops 6 will be the series' classic Nuketown.
Have you been playing Black Ops 6 on Xbox and Game Pass? What game mode did you start with first? Let us know.

I'm interested in the campaign for sure
It's a pretty good call of duty game different from modern warfare this fc25 new sonic stalker 2 Indy both coming great time to be a gamer 💚💚💚
The game is selling really well. So much for the GP will hurt COD articles people were writing just to hate on it with having no clue how making money works.
This is what happens when you get a great campaign and zombies as well as the usual multiplayer.
You need all three to be great and it makes a difference.
@HonestHick
What I will be interested in, if it has sold more GPU and maybe Xbox consoles with GPU.
I’m not sure it has at all, I think everyone has just played the game on the device and method they have already.
Which will lean Microsoft to a more publisher multiplatform base for more games in the future.
@Wisegamer "not quite ready to join the pros!"
Haha! Same here my friend 🤣
I'm really itching to just get involved with the MP, but I keep telling my self to finish the campaign first.
@OldGamer999 I'm with you here. I imagine a few people who already own the console and dont subscribe may dip into GP to play it, it just depends if they remain on the tier going forward or will it be a temporary boost.
Console sales is a different beast. It's very unlikely anyone who solely own a PS already would pick up a new console and gamepass to play it, as £70 (dollars, euros, etc...) is far cheaper than the cost of a console and subscription. Folks who own both may sway to GP but I imagine the majority of people who game enough to buy both already have it.
Will be interesting to keep an eye on. My feeling it will be a small boost overall.
@OldGamer999 it’s only been a few days. The holiday period will tell if they moved some hardware. As for GPU. I did see an internet provider tracker said Xbox network and GPU was up 144%. So time will tell how accurate all that is. But MS isn’t leaving hardware anytime soon. They are making money on Xbox consoles. They are truly just getting started with owning all this content. There is no telling the power of GP in 4, 5, 10 years time. They will want to see what that looks like.
@HonestHick In part it also shows how set gamers are. Free with the Game Pass isn't getting people even on the same platform (PC) to switch from steam to the Xbox app (well really battle net). I really feel like if Xbox is going to grow at all as a platform at this point, it'll be via completely new gamers (or at least first time console/PC gamers).
On a more positive note it can be yet another sign that platforms and launchers can compete on features and overall value, not exclusives and free games. Steam offers their users the best and most consistent experience and they respond with loyalty. No need to strong arm with exclusives or by inking out deals to keep games off other platforms. They're just better and people appreciate and support them because of it.
@Wisegamer I haven't played COD in over 12 years and I don't really play shooters anymore...but...I'm having a blast in this MP. I'm terrible, yes, but it's still so fun and fluid. Feels like the good old days of Modern Warfare and the first Black Ops.
@HonestHick
Really hope you are correct.
Always want an Xbox home console.
@Weebleman
I have both consoles and GPU so of course playing on series x.
For me it’s when my GPU runs out March 2025 and trying to figure out in these crazy times what Xbox exclusivity will be like games wise.
Is it all games, is it some games, is there a delay in releasing.
It definitely leaves you with more questions than answers and really makes it hard to decide what way to turn.
I wish Xbox would give some definite answers, maybe on some particular franchises at least.
@HonestHick Consoles have stagnated overall and individually been on the decline since the PS2. But to your point that hasn't changed that they make a fat chunk of money. Even before the Zenimax and ABK aquistion, Microsoft saw gaming pulling in the most amount of money ever at like 15 billion. Of course that included games everywhere even back then like Microsoft and their PC efforts, but the majority of that is just in consoles. Console gaming pulls in a lot of money despite having become a rather niche market (when you consider that no console has even hit 200m sales and they monthly active users on console are even less). And gamers spending habits are increasing. Margins are a growing concern, but otherwise consoles are a stable nice sized source of revenue. The issue being that no console is really succeeding in expanding it to the extent that Sony or Microsoft would want (Nintendo has managed to reach success of the PS2 which they're more than happy with due to more controlled costs and less lofty goals). The issue isn't really, "is COD going to move hardware?" but instead, "how do we make people buy hardware for the first time ever so we can sell more COD (or games in general)?" That's part of the goal of Game Pass. In part Microsoft is saying, "Okay, maybe realistically we aren't going to singlehandedly quadruple the size of the console market overnight from our third place position or ever for that matter. Why don't we keep doing what we're doing with consoles while also trying to pioneer a whole new market in general that might actually appeal to everyday people." Game Pass probably will grow a significant amount not just from COD, but the massive first party content library Xbox has in general. But it still won't hit huge numbers for quite a while. It's not just about the technology but really finding how to bridge the gap and pierce the zeitgeist.
There is a reason why we work so much in percentages and just rank the three only options. Because if we got down and dirty with it, none of the console sales numbers are that promising. They're not selling that much more (actually all of them but Nintendo have already peaked... and their peak wasn't "that" high). Like the PS2's under 160m sales in its 6 year lifetime isn't that much more than how many new iPhones (like the latest model) Apple sells in its first quarter. Yeah it is a much more multipurpose device, way more popular, and all that (also like 2 to 3x expensive), but still. It puts it into perspective. Like there are over 3 billion active gamers today and 8 billion people in the world and the most any single console has sold in its entire lifespan is less than 160M units... and it's been doing down since then despite lifespans getting longer. I mean yeah we can chalk it up to mobile, but even then there's estimates of at least 1.7 Billion PC gamers.
I mean it's the circles I choose run in (my preferred place to play is Xbox), but the emphasis put on console sales has always seemed laughable. I'll just say I call BS on Sony charging more for their hardware than ever as "Xbox not being competition". It's a sign of a company struggling to find new customers, so as costs rise they're forced to put that on their existing customers and squeeze more out from them to show better profits. All PS is at this point is upgrades. Competition is moot when there aren't that many customers to compete for (comparatively speaking with the comparison being the skyrocketing costs).
@OldGamer999 I can't understand this train of thought. If you really want to play Xbox's first party titles... does it matter? I mean they aren't going to be NOT on Xbox even if they're multiplatform. Not being able to play your Xbox library because Microsoft did the unrealistic and nuked it... isn't a new thing. In fact Xbox is the only major supporter of backwards compatibility still. Playstation is doing much better. Nintendo still doesn't really care (switch 2 is a toss up and then who knows about future models; in previous years they got rid of backwards compatibility even during the same product generation). Your library has never consistently followed you on console. Xbox isn't scaling back on first party game content whether it's exclusive or not.
Honestly, if it's just for exclusives why buy a console at all? Seriously PCs aren't even that expensive anymore, especially compared to what Sony is doing with their console and Xbox ignoring the series S. They've raised prices mid gen this time around and now Sony is selling a mid range PC for $700 to $800 (depending on your region) without a kickstand or disc drive (the one thing I wanted consoles to keep doing better than PC). Both Sony and Microsoft are putting all their best games on PC, PC is now plainly cheaper due to the increased additional fee costs (PC has free cloud saves and multiplayer for paid games as well as free and competing storefronts so way more deals). And you can start hardware wise as low as $400 and get a really solid device through a steam deck, buying a pre built PC or gaming laptop isn't that much, or you could save a ton (or spend a fortune or do whatever) by building your own.
I saw this as someone whose almost exclusively an Xbox console gamer aside from legion go handheld fun. The logic just isn't there for me. I got into Xbox for its features, value, and overall experience. Most of what I play are third party games. I only ever bought a PS either because it was a family console (like growing up during a generation my family would eventually by each for all of us siblings and then we'd share) or for third party exclusives which have largely since gone away. Like now that all the JRPGs are on Xbox my PS has just been collecting dust (switch too, but for a different reason). Did you really ONLY buy the console to play games no one who didn't buy your console could? If so, seriously just put everything into PC. There are so many games that don't come to coneole along with all the games from consoles (minus Nintendo).
@OldGamer999 yeah, like you, I have both and being honest, I don't get as much time as I used to have to play on either of them.
My series X now lives in my kids room and I tend to dip in and out of GP when something I want to play pops on. My kids play minecraft (literally all they play) so it is cheaper to just buy minecraft than keep a subscription going for it.
The PS5 sits under the TV in the living room and does get more use because I do enjoy games with a story more than endless hours of content, purely due to my limited time for playing.
I still think Xbox consoles will be around for a good while yet though, but I also think that more games will go cross platform. Simply because there's money to be had there. MS get a cut of each sale, Sony get to take a cut of a game that cost zero for them to develop. Win win situation. It's likely Sony will follow suit with some titles eventually (My moneys on Helldivers).
Either way, Black Ops will rake money in. It likely won't shift GP or console numbers for MS in massive amounts, but they get money off it regardless. So it doesn't really matter either way.
@WildConcept6
I think what I mean to say is putting it direct.
Why should I continue with a second console the series x and eco system.
If all the games are going to PS5. I can then just run one console and eco system.
It would be dam gracious of Xbox if they let their loyal day one original Xbox gamers know what they plan to do. Instead they have taken this Mickey Mouse approach of a case by case basis on game selection for other platforms.
It is called keep you hanging on by a piece of thread to hope you stay with them, in their GPU ecosystem.
Just say, yes all games or no, these games are redlined and will not go multi platform, example Halo Forza Horizon, Gears, Fable etc.
They are just being a right pain in arse messing gamers about.
@WildConcept6 Steam is for sure a great platform. They ran into a little legal trouble here recently. But overall they have been the place to be on PC and i am not sure anyone will dethrone them anytime soon. For Xbox it takes time to come back from a failed gen in the console space. They tanked with the Xbox One. They know it, the players know it. So no matter what they do, they are still going to feel that this gen. But they are doing well with their new strategy. It will take some time and a lot of big titles, but they have those coming now. So in time i believe they can make some headway here in the states and maybe the UK. But they aren’t going to move the needle much in other parts of the world that are locked into Sony’s ecosystem. That is why in those regions it is so important to make money off the PC.
@OldGamer999 i sure hope i am too HAHA. Yeah i always want a Xbox as well. Nothing against my PS5. It’s great at what i use it for. But Xbox is my main platform and has been since OG days.
This game is amazing. It feels weird to say duty is in contention for my game of the year but this honestly is one of my favorites this year.
@WildConcept6 i would love to sit and drink and beer with you and talk gaming. You truly get it and understand this industry very well. That was all very well said and i 100% agree. The console space is a very tricky market to grow and balance the profits and losses. Now Sony say’s well we just won’t lose no more and throw extra cost at their player base. It’s early stages of it but if they continue to do it into the next gen it could have some backlash. More and more gamers could start to not see the value in it and go PC. I think MS’s strategy is going to out gain Sony’s in the long run cause reaching more screens is simply the smart thing to do when gamers now have more choice then ever where to play their games at. Very well written and thought out reply and i surely enjoyed it. Please continue to include me in your thoughts. I enjoy a well balanced conversation about the industry. 😊
@HonestHick
Yep, I just wish Xbox would be a bit more open on future games, multi platform etc.
games that are no way multi platform etc.
future home consoles etc.
just something to gain some Xbox future console wise and game exclusives on the platform.
@HonestHick The biggest obstacle MS have to overcome to gain traction is convincing folks to leave their library behind, and vice versa. Last gen was the one we're folks really adopted digital purchases over physical, and Sony had a large portion of the market adopt their ecosystem. Back compatibility means whatever console comes next, folks are unlikely to drop that and shift over. Same with Xbox. Yes, games may come to PS but folks with a huge library likely won't just walk away.
MS making games more accessible without a console is a cheaper 'buy in' route and makes sense, they just need streaming tech to catch up with them as it's not there yet (personal opinion there as I struggle with it). I suppose it then comes down to the casual market. MS really need to get out there and sell that you don't need a console. I can't remember a single advert telling people - away from gaming sites - that you can do it. Most casual folk will just grab the next box in line with what they already own. If they don't know they can pick up something else as well for far cheaper to give access to other games, they won't.
@OldGamer999 i agree 100%. Their messaging is still awful. The marketing for COD has been great. So let’s hope that carries over for some of their bigger future releases. But the messaging is a mess. We do need info on all you just said. I expect them to come with a next gen console somewhat soon. I really want to hear about it in 2025. They said they had exciting hardware news to announce at the end of the year. Well it’s close to the end of the year.
@Weebleman yeah i mean great point. They will dominate in a cloud only world with the IPS they have. But that is not ready for mainstream yet. GP helps build a library of games up to play quickly and affordable. But that is not what we are seeing with the console players. Truthfully 8 if not 9 out of 10 consoles sold, play COD, Fortnite and sports games. Thats what the competition in the console space is. Only 1-2 gamers out of 10 are like us and care about AAA big experiences. The momentum the causals can just download an app on their TV and play FIFA like it’s on a console is going to shift that part of the market a lot. In the meantime i think Xbox just needs to stay the course they have now and continue to do pro consumer moves. Great points buddy 😊
@HonestHick
I think you know me, as long as I get the very best premium experience I’m fine.
Once Xbox stop that with say no console or cloud gaming only, will definitely be the day I say goodbye and move to others that offer the hardware consoles full experience.
As for the series x as a console form factor and things like quick resume, it’s the best console there is.
It just needs to be used and abused to its full power potential.
@HonestHick That's right! It's way too early to know how new Call of Duty games affect Xbox and Game Pass in the long term, but all the data so far is positive. The game is being a resounding success on all platforms, including Game Pass. Unsurprising, because Modern Warfare III was also a hit on Game Pass in spite of joining the service many months later.
It's also very interesting that when Black Ops 6 launched topping the Game Pass charts, Modern Warfare III jumped back to number 2, which means that Call of Duty has a layered effect.
@OldGamer999 i agree with that my friend. I do think the Series X is the better console and the roadmap of games is starting to look very strong. We still don’t know much about what Sony has or if it get’s out in the next 1-2 years. That is starting to concern me a little. I hope in 2025 they give a decent size roadmap so i know what to expect. As for MS they just need to deliver those games in great shape and i think i will be more than happy with Team Green.
@Banjo- for sure and remember these are the same people that thought 2 weeks after MS bought ABK we would have 12 games and GP would be at 80 million users and the console war was over and Xbox was a monopoly. No other company get’s story’s written about them in that fashion. This is a long term play with ABK and other studios. It’s all going to build GP over time into a monster value service that should continue to grow in great content and users.
@HonestHick Yes, I think that Microsoft has the most future-proof stance right now and that it has benefited both Xbox and PC users, with the occasional PS and Switch ports that haven't changed the big picture either. They still earn billions on Xbox consoles yearly. Sony is slowly copying this approach, because Sony realised that it is safer and more profitable than the console exclusive scenario.
@HonestHick
The problem with Xbox first party AAA is the same that all other third party developers are now having with consoles.
They make for all devices and become masters of none and have not time to optimise to bring the best out of the series x or PS5 consoles.
They make a super master build for PC and then just cut back accordingly.
This is why Xbox studios will never have acclaimed games Series X wise as Sony or Nintendo making AAA games just for one console respectively.
I have always said this since Xbox went multiple devices.
The only game I would say that kept up its big AAA status is Forza Horizon 5.
@OldGamer999 i think Gears E Day will blow anything Sony has away. A few people that saw it said it’s the best looking game they have ever seen. So i would recommend waiting for sure that Series consoles can’t throw out some high quality stuff. Also Nintendo games are very fun. I play them for the fun factor. But a lot of them run at 24fps. To me thats not quality. Sure it’s fun, but the hardware even tho 1 sku to your point is so underpowered that the quality of the game suffers greatly. Looking forward to seeing if Switch 2 can get Nintendo games back to not only fun but well performing. With Sony releasing more and more games on PC, they are no longer a single SKU developer either per se. So as the industry leans more and more into PC and handhelds, i think your point will be more across the board. Just my opinion of course friend.
@HonestHick
I would love to see E-Day do that, but I can’t see it I’m afraid not on consoles anyway.
But will gladly be proved wrong.
But if any game could come close E-Day is the one.
Don’t forget now the Pro arrives and yes initially improvements will be small be welcome.
But once a Sony Studio releases a new game after the Pros release with the console in mind I very much doubt console wise anything will touch it.
Yes PS5 games do go to PC but that is later and sometimes done by another company.
When the game is initially made the actually Sony Studio only has to focus on the PS5.
It must be an amazing help to the developer on so many levels, just imagine developing for one single console compared to.
Series x and s, PC and other devices and cloud gaming as well, all requiring to be ready to release on day one.
You can see third party developers stating to struggle with this nowadays as well.
@HonestHick
Another issue Xbox consoles have now with the Pro, if I want a game at its console best to go with my top end Sony 65” tv then wait from Xbox to release it on the Pro.
Be it, Stalker 2, Indy and Doom. Even Doom is same day release.
That also goes for third party games as well.
I know the Pro will be a bit niche and only nut jobs like me or you etc might get one.
But at the end of the day it’s another reason not have a Series x.
Unless Microsoft get their act together and redline some franchises that are Xbox consoles etc only.
But as the arse wipes can’t be bothered to say this to their loyal fans, then why should I bother trying to be loyal to them.
@HonestHick
To sum up, you know me, I’ve tried so hard to love Xbox this generation.
But if your lover keeps pushing you away and gives you no insentive to stay.
And then starts to give you good reasons to leave and love another.
What’s a man supposed to do 🤣
@OldGamer999 i for sure hope to only see one Xbox SKU for home console and one for Handheld next gen. But i do thing many games are built to scale. Not many PC gamers are playing on 4090’s. They are playing on mid range cards or often times lower. So i slightly disagree, but i do think it would be easier not having to weak of a SKU like the S. As long as the base line power is there you can go up and it’s easier and rewarding work, going down and having to cut is not ideal that i do agree with you on. 😊
@OldGamer999 I understand that. I do think the Pro will be nice for some games. But if Xbox comes out in 2026 as rumor points to then it’s a bridge for a few years and back to Xbox having the power and start on next gen. For me i tell players to play where it fits you best. For me the Xbox controller, free cloud saves, games i buy get me a Xbox and PC copy if i choose to build a PC, with all my saved content switching from one platform to the next and my friends list, well thats what works for me. PS5 Pro will of course be my Sony exclusive machine and possibly more depending on what games come to it and how they run. But i understand your points and for sure advise anyone to play where it brings you the most joy. Cause this is entertainment after all. It’s meant to be fun and exciting.
Wish they could slow down the movement at least for search and destroy
@Banjo- i agree, MS is stronger now than the YouTubers and gaming sites would spin it. They own so many games and have so many ways to get those games on different screens. They are about to launch games on a mobile store and really rake in cash. Sony will come around to getting there games less and less locked to a single box, they have hinted at wanting to do that but are just dipping their toes in. They closed 2 studios today. Lost millions on Concord, it’s just as i have said on here and Push. They do not have the talent, IP, or ability to create online games. They have single player studio talent. Which is fine other than those games bring back pennies on the dollar, while MS and PC games bring back millions in mere days. They won’t give up on live service and i think if it don’t go right soon they will bleed the bank dry and start to over charge their player base in ways they have no idea how bad it will be.
@HonestHick Right. Things are not looking very bright for Sony at the moment and nobody plays their online games, but if they publish their single-player games everywhere (Windows PCs at least), they will find a way to sustain a business they can't on PS5 alone. Meanwhile and quietly, Xbox has become a multiplatform behemoth with a very solid software output on Xbox and PC on top of the very profitable mobile/Cloud business.
@Banjo- Bingo Banjo!!! Haha sorry i had to!!! .
You are spot on, I’ll give you an example to chew on. I want your thoughts back on it. Sony locks down a money hat deal on Stellar Blade aka Project eve that was coming to PS5, Xbox and PC. They make sure that game can’t come to Xbox and PC players to make more money but yet tell that dev studio that is good for them but for Sony they bring God of War to PC. So Sony wins in the sense they took a game off Xbox and PC, market their console as the place to play it and then port their single player games to PC to make more money. How did that help the dev team that signed with them?
MS is showing dev’s to be on all screens and how much money there is doing so. The gig is up for Sony, even a long time loyal partner in Square Enix said enough is enough with locking our games to one box.
Thoughts?
@HonestHick 🤗 That's as desperate as Jim Ryan whining during the acquisition. They want third parties to skip Xbox specifically, but it doesn't benefit third parties. They realise that they need to stay multiplatform and avoid Sony's moneyhatting because it's just a short-sighted strategy. Then, Sony ports everything to PC. Basically, Sony paid third parties for skipping Xbox and now they are looking for more platform to publish their games. How does it make any sense? If all the money that Sony wasted on preventing the Call of Duty deal and on Call of Duty marketing and early access deals was spent on in-house projects, PS5 would have more than two AAA games so far.
@Banjo- as always, very well said and i agree 100%. I really think moving forward less and less 3rd party titles are going to take the money hatting deals. They are going to see everyone else making way more money. MS is changing the way games are delivered and people don’t want to see it or they don’t like that it’s happening. Either way this new MS strategy is winning me over as i am seeing just how big in the long term it’s going to really be.
@HonestHick 🙌 The strategy of Xbox is more future-proof than Sony's. Sony just closed their online studio and a mobile studio and lost half a billion. They are slowly approaching the PC market and just stated they needed more time to tackle the mobile market. They don't have many studios and have little more than one genre mastered, and it's their fault because they killed Wipeout and others just to focus on the interactive movie template. The rest of the budget was wasted on moneyhatting deals, not to mention their gigantic debt ($13.663B, a 3.57% increase year-over-year). This is what Sony has become.
Look at how Sony fans said that Microsoft would destroy Call of Duty and that Xbox will disappear, they still say it LOL. Truth is the Xbox ecosystem is ahead of Sony and Nintendo now.
@Banjo- that is all facts. They are so far ahead. Again as i have mentioned here. The insomniac leak showed Sony saying they are behind. That the ABK deal leapfrogs MS over them in areas they do not have. These aren’t my words. This is the horses mouth. They know MS is going to make insane money with this strategy and slowly take players away from PS. Even if it’s to PC. Xbox and PC combined are going to stress Sony out financially. I haven’t even gotten to the rumor that the next Xbox is considering getting rid of the paywall for online. How can they eat all that money some ask? Easy you buying their games on any screen you wish too. That leaves Sony charging $80 a year for online play while Xbox and PC are free. MS is slowly stripping all the anti consumer polices off its brand while Sony is adding more. While that won’t change the player base today or tomorrow, it will in the long haul.
@HonestHick Absolutely. The future is a combination of PC and all those devices that are PC-friendly and share features, libraries and payments. Today, they are PC handhelds. Soon, Xbox will join them as a PC-console with no barriers. It's impossible that Sony is able to sustain an expensive, consumer-milking and limited ecosystem like this. If Xbox removes the paywall for online, then there's nothing left on PS. No more Call of Duty early access or exclusive content, no more Final Fantasy exclusives and no more Sony exclusives either! I guess that it's why they are following Microsoft's steps, slowly and with more limitations.
@Banjo- I agree and with MS the cloud saves pick up where you left off on either device. That too is a huge advantage over Sony. PC fused with console is the future for sure. I agree with you spot on. I hope you continue to share this knowledge so others can see Xbox is not weak right now. In fact it is stronger than ever. This point in time is the smallest this plan will ever be. As more games come into the fold and new hardware it will all start to click. Do people even understand in a few more weeks GP will have added COD, flight Sim 24, Stalker 2 and Indiana Jones. With Avowed a few months behind. That is output no one can keep up with, with a low to entry fee to play all those. Thats massive buddy.
@HonestHick Yeah, I will share my view which is necessary amongst so much negativity. Most of the daily posters here are anti-Xbox, you can see it, and that is sad because it makes the site worse and also because one can't help wonder what are they doing on an Xbox site every day, posting wrong things, if they don't care or like it, anyway.
I also enjoy your comments here and on Push Square, they are sensible and necessary. What you mention now is very important. On Xbox, you get the Windows version for no additional cost. The cloud saves are free and the same on console and PC. Achievements are the same. However, on PS, you need to make a different purchase to get the PC version. Trophies are separated, there are no free cloud saves and the save files are not compatible. Not even PS5 remasters of PS4 titles share trophies nor save files, an users need to pay the upgrade fee. While I always say that Sony is following's Microsoft steps, when I analyse both, I realise how many things Sony is doing wrong in the process.
@HonestHick I forgot that Sony purchased Haven, a new studio developing Fairgames, an online multiplayer shooter. I hope it doesn't end like Concord.
@Banjo- well said and thank you. Yeah i try and keep the truth going cause the sites just throw stuff out there for hate clicks. Yeah the save and trophy features on PS are not up to standard. Xbox and PC crushes them. Sony does copy Xbox a lot. They have been since the 360. They use a lot of optics to make it seem like they are original or better. I literally only use my PS5 for the exclusives. I was going to get a Pro and cancelled it. No need.
@HonestHick Oh, I remember telling you PS5 Pro is not worth it when it was revealed! 😁 It's a minimal GPU upgrade that will be vastly underused, and by the time next consoles come, it will be a very expensive paperweight. I'm curious about the noise and heat levels because Sony is not very good engineering consoles in that sense. It's like they take off-the-shelf components and then overclock them for the Pro model. Since Xbox One X, it's fascinating how incredibly well Microsoft engineer the Xbox consoles.
@Banjo- i agree, the PS4 Pro i had was noisy from the start. I keep my consoles very clean. I too wondered if we will see any heat issues or noise from it. Time will tell. I just don’t love the controller so there is no way i am going to buy all my games there. It’s good enough for the exclusive games and thats it. Xbox has always been my main platform and i see no need to change. One X and Series X has been flawless for me as well. No noise, or issues.
@HonestHick Yep, no problems with my Xbox One, Xbox One X and Series X either. My PS4, on the other hand... 🤣
