Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Gets Busy Meeting Loads Of Japanese Devs At TGS 2024

It was a busy old Tokyo Game Show for Xbox, with the team delivering a jam-packed showcase full of new reveals from Japanese studios last week. However, TGS is also a bit of an industry get together in the region, and boss Phil Spencer has been making good use of his time over in Tokyo.

Posting out to Instagram Threads, Phil has been sharing loads of updates over the last few days covering his time at the convention. The boss met up with teams from Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Konami, Square Enix and more, before heading back to the US earlier this week.

Here are some of Phil's recent posts:

The head of Xbox adds that this year's TGS visit was an "inspiring trip as always", going on to say that it's "always great to talk to the leaders of the publishers in Japan and get their input and guidance". These publishers definitely delivered on the Xbox stage during Team Green's broadcast last week!

Square Enix ended up being one of Microsoft's biggest partners for the show, shadow dropping a bunch of games during the broadcast - including two Xbox Game Pass titles. For all the big TGS Xbox news, check out our handy roundups down below.

It's nice to see Phil more active again on social media! Which of these publishers are you most excited about working with Xbox?
