Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters… about bloody time!
Honestly, that was pretty cool stuff. Not all of it was for me, but that Threads of Time game really caught my eye!
Where's the Activision games for gamepass I literally shocked like why aren't they giving us anything I'm just going to buy CTR sick waiting what a let down 💩💩💩💩💩
Yaaay FF Pixel Remasters are here. I am stoked for this.
Absolutely Garbage
👎👎👎Do better next time Xbox
I wasnt blown away by this, it was long winded and boring. But at least many of the games may appeal to a jap audience.
The only bigger titles were ones wed known about for ages, and Im still struggling with Indy being 1st person, the actual gameplay looks lightweight and awkward but Im hoping it may feel better in person. The Diablo expansion looks sweet, I have that pre ordered already.
Its about time xbox got ff pixel remasters, but these titles and the mana games are pretty old news and didnt need the time spent on them.
All told this was poor show imo, very little new of any consequence, and definitely the pooerest xbox show Ive seen for some time as they had been getting their shows so right before.
Nothing new to be excited for in my book. Oh well, they can't all be winners. And last showcase was crazy so I'll let this one slide, so to speak.
Threads of time would be something cool if I had not just played sea of stars.
Yeaaaah. Scrolling through and having a quick gander, nothing to really be excited for.
A big nothing burger for me & glad i didn't waste my time watching it.
@BIG3 What was crazy about the last showcase? More games announced with no release dates/years like Gears or the games from 2019/2020 still with no release dates?
And the one game that was "2024" Avowed, is 2025 now.
That is crazy. Imagine if Demon's Souls, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Spiderman Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West and GT7, weren't released yet........ no wait, had NO release dates since 2020.
I would've abandoned PlayStation long ago.
I stand by it today, I have no idea why anybody thinks that was a "great" Xbox showcase. Everything they needed to do at that event, didn't happen.
@Ricky-Spanish Japanese games and audience are the main focus of TGS. The likelihood of an ABK Game Pass drop announcement was extremely unlikely.
Out of all those links for the recap, the only thing that had my interest was fallout 76.
Clicked the link. Brought me to bunch japanese letters. I exited out. Will wait for more information from somewhere else.
Sounds like it was crap for me personally as expected....Japanese game ain't really my cup of tea
Yawn
Wait, was that it?
This made me feel better about my PS5 Pro Preorder.
@GuyinPA75 They didn't make an actual trailer for it, so we've linked to the exact part of the broadcast where it was revealed instead. Based on your feedback, I've changed the link to the "Xbox On" version of the stream instead.
Here's a bit more info as well:
"Fallout 76 Creative Director Jon Rush announced at TGS that it’ll be raining cats and dogs in Appalachia when C.A.M.P. Pets hit the game this December. Start getting your own personal corner of the wasteland ready for your new furr-ever friend now!"
@FraserG OK, thank you. That makes sense now.
Really interested in following this story as it develops. Have a pet in elder scrolls online. Curious see how that experience will be in fallout 76.
Pretty sure goal for Bethesda is try utilize the pets as big payday microtransactions. Hopefully have more functions than just excuse generate revenue.
@Secryt oof
@Secryt this show made you purchase a $700 console with no games
16 months and we got is Astro Bot and then Concord, probably time to sell mine
I think I might be in a minority demographic for Xbox nowadays. We're a long long way from the 360 era with it's huge library of single player/co-op fps and 3rd person shooters. Thank goodness we have at least one Sony-esque cinematic single player game coming in Indiana Jones. Stalker looks decent too.
If the mech game by Bandai had more then sure otherwise milking it like Gundam MP games. I'd take a Front Mission Evolved style game in singleplayer but nope. I'll wait till I get Mech Warrior or others from the past on Xbox or PS2, let alone waiting for any copy I can find of Battle Engine Aquila again instead. Or get Star Wars Clone Wars 2002 cheap or whatever for a vehicle fix besides my Ace Combat 360 games to finish or Blazing Angels/Lair to finish.
The turn based RPG to me unless it's Eternal Sonata or Conception or something different to put on turn based combat systems I'm sick to death of the same generic layout of turn based RPGs, no new little details interest me unless the 4 wheel quadrants of Conception or the move to places in an arena in Eternal Sonata weren't so refreshing. Hence why I said or something different. Even then to me Conception's system is very eh at times but it's at least something and was intriguing enough besides it's limits to still be fun besides the generic dungeon layouts as generic as Coded Arms but I mean for PSP/PS4 remaster with cut content because of course it did, I can give it a pass and the dialogue is silly enough.
I enjoy Tactics games otherwise so I get my fill there but if JRPG devs want me to care about turn based RPGs and not Tactics they need to try harder because I just can't be bothered with the menu/other details being so samey and whatever critical or animations or other stuff is so formulaic and doesn't change up the game enough for me to be interested. But I guess if Japanese audiences are happy why not then. I just find when I see them not much going on, they grind/drag on and the strategy of the menus to me isn't that compelling it doesn't mix it up enough and the strategy is usually very boring and not strategy enough no matter the difficulty it's just boring and not satisfying to land actions. Any I've played or any new ones I see not really changing it up either visually to communicate changes either.
Remasters/ports sure, many other Japanese IPs to Xbox is cool.
StarCraft remasters no on console just PC, do they not want more sales? Just PC audience sales from fans and newcomers? Sure. If PC Gamepass even sure. Not much else from ActBlizz though hmm.
To me it's average to D/F it pretty much isn't anything I care for just look over and go it's fair worthy for some audiences out there of a response from me.
@16BitHero you’re not alone. We’re just not pretending like many.
Atelier series is coming to xbox for the first time, I believe. It deserves a dedicated post.
