During its Sonic Central broadcast this week, Sega shared another look at the upcoming release Sonic X Shadow Generations.
This time was focus on the story in Shadow's game including the return of...spoiler alert...Melphiles. Black Doom also returns and you can also see Maria in this latest trailer. Here's a brief description, courtesy of Sega:
"When a disturbing omen stirs Shadow's memories, he must relive his past.
Black Doom—Shadow's nemesis—reemerges and threatens to take over the world. Shadow must journey into his past, confront his painful memories, and unlock new dark powers to save the world."
During Sony's PlayStation 'State of Play' broadcast, it was also confirmed Keanu Reeves will join Sonic X Shadow Generations as part of an upcoming 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie pack', where he'll also voice Shadow.
Sonic X Shadow Generations arrives for Xbox Series X|S on 25th October 2024. Pre-orders are now live and there will also be an three day early access period from 22nd October.
