Yesterday, Stardew Valley creator Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone finally locked in a console release date for the anticipated Version 1.6 update.

It will roll out on November 4th, 2024, and as part of this, it will also include the latest build 1.6.9, which will launch on the PC around the same time. Here's the creator's update in full:

"Hello all, The console and mobile ports of the 1.6 update will be released on November 4th, 2024. Thank you for your patience. The console and mobile ports will release at version 1.6.9, which will also come to PC around that time. I’m looking forward to having 1.6 fully released on all platforms. Then I would like to finish Haunted Chocolatier next. Thank you -Ape"

As mentioned once 1.6 is fully released, Barone will likely be turning more attention to his next project Haunted Chocolatier. You can see the full 1.6 changelog on the official Stardew website.

Stardew Valley is playable on Game Pass, for anyone who hasn't picked up this farming and lifestyle simulation just yet.
