Talk about a great Xbox Game Pass announcement! It's been revealed today as part of the August Xbox Indie Showcase that Stardew Valley will officially be coming to the service, expected to arrive "probably sometime in the fall."
If you've never played it, Stardew Valley is an extremely popular open-ended country-life RPG developed by just one person, and it launched on Xbox back in 2016. The game has received numerous free updates since then, so even if you haven't played it in a few years, it's definitely worth giving it a try on Xbox Game Pass.
We'll obviously keep you in the loop as and when a Game Pass date is announced for Stardew Valley.
You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?
Excited to try Stardew Valley with Xbox Game Pass when it arrives? Let us know in the comments below.

Man, I played the heck out of this game on Switch.
It's really the best Harvest Moon game that's not Harvest Moon.
I really should get back into it!
Amazing news! I've nearly bought this so many times but something has always stopped me. Now (well, at some point) is the time 😁
@GamingFan4Lyf Same here. I played a lot this on Switch, even with friends in multiplayer. Now these same 'friends' are tempting me to replay it in Xbox. Haha.
