Sea Of Stars Is Getting Local Co-Op And 'Fan-Requested Features' On Xbox Game Pass

Sea of Stars was a bit of an Xbox Game Pass banger last year, and now, the game's 'Dawn of Equinox' update is set to almost reinvent the classics-inspired RPG.

Arriving this November, the upcoming patch adds three-player local co-op, an overhaul to the game's combat systems, a revamped prologue for new players, a bonus cinematic cutscene and more. Seriously, this update is packed full of goodies, with the team having worked on this one for some time.

You can get a closer look at the team's changes tomorrow, October 1st at 2pm ET, when a Sea of Stars Dawn of Equinox livestream takes place:

What's more, players are also being treated to a free DLC for the game as well - set to arrive in March 2025. 'Throes of the Watchmaker' will introduce "a completely new storyline, a new playable character and more" to the title next spring. Wins all around for Sea of Stars, then!

The Dawn of Equinox update, featuring three-player local co-op, comes to Xbox and Game Pass on November 12th.
