It's always a good day when we get to report some positive Microsoft Rewards news!
Starting this month, MS Rewards has begun rolling out a new "PC Weekly Bonus" to users in certain regions, which allows them to earn up to 1000 points per-month for playing Xbox games on PC for at least five days a week.
This is essentially the same thing as the Weekly Console Bonus that was debuted at the start of the year.
Based on the comments we've been seeing, it looks like this new PC Weekly Bonus is only available in Germany and Mexico as things stand, but we're presuming it'll roll out to other regions in the near future.
It remains to be seen how generous it'll be in the likes of the UK though, where the Weekly Console Bonus recently reduced the number of points you could earn. In any case, you'll hopefully be getting some extra points from this soon!
Have you come across the PC Weekly Bonus for Microsoft Rewards yet? Let us know in the comments.

give it a month it will get reduced to 150 a week like the console weekly bonus has.
and thanks for reinstating the 15 minute cooldown timer on pc searches thanks Microsoft
thats sarcasm by the way
Cool! Now I can win some points by playing Game Pass titles on my Ally.
@trev666 Where are you based? In the UK still the 3-5 secs.
Not seeing the 1000pts for playing PC but seeing 1000pts for using Microsoft Defender (if you have Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription).
I'll sometimes go several weeks with just the 5sec wait, but then there will be a day, sometimes two, where I have the 15 min delay again. Today is one of those days. (USA)
Just completely given up on doing any rewards...and I used to do them all religiously daily....just couldn't be arsed when they starting massively nerfing it....putting cool down on searches etc
@StylesT It can still be worth it for the rewards. It still pays for a month of Game Pass Ultimate and then some. I can generally knock all the searches out and get most of the available points by lunch or sooner just by chipping away at it.
All i want from them is to finally add xbox related stuff for all countries. Were i live the only gaming related rewards i can get with my points are about sea of thieves and overwatch and i dont play either...
It seems there's been quite a few changes since the last note on the app from July 3rd (US).
For starters, they put a 15-minute delay after using 3-4 searches on both PC and Mobile. Previously it was 5 seconds between searches.
They also linked the Bing check in to the puzzle board on PC, which previously took 12 weeks of 'do 3 Bing searches'. With two options now, it should take 6 weeks instead of 12 for the 1000 points it offers.
I also noticed an uptick in additional 10-15 point bing activities, especially when it comes to specific bing searches.
It's still not as good as it used to be, but it's still a lot better than what others offer. I'd be real happy if there pc weekly bonus showed up here too!
@trev666 they slowed my searches down and I was searching from the related searches that they put on there for us to search , they taking the *** now
Never had any of The bonuses before watch me get this when I don't even have a pc🤣😭
@johnK you can also start a free 30 day trial then cancel so they don't take any money ( if you haven't had the trial before of course )
@FarmDog08 but how long is that taking you each day to essentially earn £12?
@PsBoxSwitchOwner realistically? Maybe an hour.
@FarmDog08 a day? So 30hrs work for £12.
Don’t get me wrong I used to do it all religiously, including some of the more obscure ones.
But now the time investment just doesn’t make it worthwhile. I just collect what I get.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner It's definitely an "unto each their own" type of thing. I wake up pretty early anyways and usually have it done before I even start work. It's the days where the 15min delay is in that drags it out. I get the play a game at night and I use TrueAchievements to find a quick game that I can get at least one Game Pass game achievement per day. I usually knock that one out via cloud streaming on my lunch break.
To the ones mentioning the 15-minute cool down, this is kind of a punishment they put you on if they detect you're getting points too fast, using repeated letters or other ways to get points quickly. It is quite a pain and I've suffered it a few times already.
@trev666 Just wait 5 seconds and do your next search. You can't honestly expect them to keep it the way it was, where you blaze through 30 fake searches.
