If you've been looking forward to the release of Metaphor: ReFantazio on Xbox Series X|S this October, you'll be glad to hear that Atlus is releasing a free prologue demo today - as announced as part of Tokyo Game Show 2024.
The demo, which is currently available on the Xbox Korea store (but not anywhere else just yet), is estimated to be five hours long in all, and save data will transfer to the full game when it launches next month.
For those who haven't been keeping track, Metaphor: ReFantazio is the first original project from Atlus development team Studio Zero, with some of those developers having worked on multiple Persona titles in the past.
In the game, you'll find yourself embarking on a "mysterious and exciting" story that revolves around a lost and cursed prince, and it's said to feature a unique battle system that combines turn-based and real-time action.
