Ubisoft Reveals Star Wars Outlaws DLC Roadmap For 2024 And Beyond

100 dollar edition will be 40 bucks in a year and a half past release.

This is why I've stopped buying games from the majority of major publishers. There's no passion for the product outside of how many different ways they can fleece the end consumer.

@JoyfulFire You’re preemptively complaining about other people complaining, whilst simultaneously giving good reasons justifying why people dislike AAA Ubisoft.

@CaptainCluck I haven't seen any reasons given other than "because it's Ubisoft". Seasonal passes for additional content are as old as the Titanic. AAA games on release with season passes bundled have always been expensive.
There's always the option to wait for sales and the game to be later patched up more, which I've always done. I just don't see the point in incessant whining about it. This is the model, it's not going to change because it evidently works.

@JoyfulFire Things only get changed through consistent feedback and the threat of lost revenue. Making a one-and-done comment is unlikely to be seen or to resonate with anyone. People should continue to point out and discuss predatory practices - whether it's loot boxes, AAA greed, lazy Ubisoft map filler design, or whatever.

If you're happy with the industry model, then fine. You could have written a comment about why this game is going to be great.

@Lup ha same! Which edition are you going for? I went for the standard one. If I like it as much as I expect to, will probably just get the dlc in sales later on.

That's what I'm waiting for, @Ryu_Niiyama. I'd usually buy the Ultimate edition of a game that included the Season Pass, but I'm not paying £120 for a game. Especially not when it will be half than a month or so following release. This is the sort of game I would usually pre-order, but the price, and only the price, has stopped me from doing so..

@Fiendish-Beaver Yep, I have honestly been surprised at how quickly the prices fall on these ultimate editions.

IDK why there's a negative buzz around the Ubi Star Wars game. The fans of the franchise would love to have a half decent game again. The recent Star Wars tv/film output have been aggressively mediocre at best the last few years. A decent Star Wars game is not hard to reach even if it will fall short of the the last two Jedi Survivor games.

I'll buy it when it crosses the $20 line or the gold edition is around $30.I have an axe to grind with Ubi, but the negativity surrounding Outlaws is something I fail to understand.

There goes my interest in playing.

"Renting" this with Ubisoft+, on PC.
I never replay their games (as I don't want to own them), so I rather pay for a month of their service, to play through a new game.
They should add this service to consoles as well.

And I'm so damn tired of their ***** with season passes, and road maps.
Just release a damn game with everything in it. Bloodsuckers...
