It's been announced today as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live that the hugely popular open-world adventure RPG Genshin Impact will be crossing over from PlayStation and PC to Xbox on November 20th, 2024.
A pre-order bundle is already live on the Xbox Store for $9.99, although keep in mind the game itself is free-to-play. Genshin Impact will apparently include Xbox Game Pass benefits when it arrives later this year as well.
Here's a bit more information on the game, along with the Xbox trailer up above.
"Genshin Impact is an open-world adventure RPG. In the game, set forth on a journey across a fantasy world called Teyvat. In this vast world, you can explore seven nations, meet a diverse cast of characters with unique personalities and abilities, and fight powerful enemies together with them, all on the way during your quest to find your lost sibling.
You can also wander freely, immersing yourself in a world filled with life, and let your sense of wonder lead you to uncover all of its mysteries... Until you are at long last reunited with your lost sibling and bear witness to the culmination of all things at the end of your journey."

About ***** time!!! Literally quit the game because I mained xbox after having a ton of stuff on account
It's a good game but it's community harbors some of the nastiest d*g*nerates out there. I might check it out though.
For some reason, the game is installable now as a Game Pass perk.
If it's free to play I'll at least try it, but honestly I've always thought it's a pretty bad game that stands out mainly because of the fan service.
@Pabpictu Exploring the world is good, some great locations and beautiful music. But some of the story stuff is just boring and poorly paced, and grinding for materials to power up your characters is very tedious.
crossing over from PlayStation? You make it sound like a PS exclusive is coming to Xbox. This has been on PC and phones since day one.
Final Fantasy 14 & Genshin Impact in the same year. Wow Xbox team you've done well 😊.
let me guess only for series x even though my one x could run it. edit: It is a series x exclusive which is BS. I know my one x could run this.
Hoyoverse engines are terribly optimized IMHO. Zenless Zone Zero has smaller hub areas and graphics that aren't much better than Honkai or Genshin, but it is unstable on practically all platforms.
I see part of why Genshin Impact isn't on One is not the X itself, but that it would need to support the base Xbox One, and that's why more and more games are jumping ship on it.
I will never get a series x. If you are going to be lazy and not put it on a console that can clearly run it then you do not deserve my money.
There was a Switch port announced forever ago and Xbox still got it first, geez.
I've heard so much about this game, but simultaneously know nothing about it.
