After the game being heavily rumoured for Xbox Game Pass prior to its official confirmation earlier this week, Atlas Fallen is finally coming to the library today!
This open-world action RPG got a bit of a mixed reception at launch, but it's just received a major free update on all platforms, so we'll drop the trailer for this fresh version of Atlas Fallen down below.

Now, we'll also drop a link to our initial 2023 review down below, but do bear in mind that these thoughts are based on the game before its 'Reign of Sand' update. We still really liked it back then anyway!

I will try this tonight. I started with Mafia last night but it doesn't feel like my cup of tea.
I almost bought this last week, glad I held off as would like to give it a shot.

@johnK I nearly quit on Mafia very early, but changed the difficulty to easy to enjoy the story, and a few hours in I think it's excellent. It's never going to be for everyone but might be worth sticking with a tiny bit longer
I could just Google this, but is the co-op just online or is it also local?

Mafia - I'm playing it but can't say I'm enjoying it. A good story doesn't make up for boring driving sections, yanky controls for fist fighting and unforgiving shooting parts.
@johnK Very true. I have avoided fist fighting after the introduction of it, and had no issues with the shooting on easy mode, so it allows me to enjoy it more. But I totally see your point.
In relation to Atlas Fallen, I just wanted to say this game is looking really poorly on XSS. Relying on FSR (1?) with such a low native resolution, in a world filled with sand and foliage.. when doing a sand skate whole screen just turns to soup. Please, at least give me an option to play in 540p without artifacts, if that is the most XSS can do.
