Once again we have some rumoured Xbox Game Pass additions for August 2024, that if past leaks are anything to go by, will likely be true and confirmed by Microsoft in the coming days and weeks.
According well-known leaker eXtas1s, Mafia: Definitive Edition and Wargroove 2 are coming to the Game Pass library around mid-August. The latter, which is currently a Nintendo Switch console exclusive, hasn't been dated yet - but 2020's Mafia remake is supposedly arriving on August 13th.
Last week, the same source outed an August 8th Game Pass date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - an arrival that's not been confirmed yet, but we're expecting to hear about the addition during tomorrow's Xbox Game Pass roundup from Microsoft.
In recent months, this insider has correctly leaked the Xbox Game Pass additions of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Octopath Traveler 2, so while we can't take this news as gospel just yet, we'd say there's a pretty good chance that both of these games — along with the Crash trilogy — are added to the service next month.

Mafia definitive edition is one of the best games I ever played the story it amazing the graphics are so pretty only downsides for me were the achievements are a bit glitchy and the shooting feels a bit old school but is actually good once you get used to it it's basically the godfather/Good fellas in video game form

@FarmDog08 Well it's not an out and out open world it's basically just story missions a bit of driving and stealth and obviously shooting I can't really think of game that would be very similar sorry but check out try before you buy review on the gameranx you tube channel they do a Better job than me explaining it plus you see the gameplay!

I already played both of these but they are both excellent. I will probably do another runthrough of wargroove since I recently replayed advance wars for GBA and still have an itch for that brand of tactic game.
I've wanted to play Mafia for years and years so this could finally be my chance to get back into the mob business since that Godfather game on PS3.

I think I played a mafia game back in the ps2 days, but it was so long ago I don't remember anymore. I think there were some shakedowns involved, and i may be confusing it with another game, so I'll give it a try if it's released on GP
@Balie3000 What amazes me is Rockstar/2K could go out of its way to release patches on PC for no other purpose but to break mods they throw cease & desists at, but they can't be bothered to fix FPS, fix RDR2 HDR, or really do much of anything else. 2K may be the sleaziest company in all gaming, and that's saying something.
I really hope Atlas Fallen gets announced. It was rumoured a few weeks ago and I've been wanting to try it but we haven't heard anything official...
Wargroove 2 yes please 😍 got the 1st one it's good. Bit like the old battalion games online 😎
I like the gameplay but couldn't get into Wargroove (1) because the story was too stupid.
Mafia can absolutely believe as legit. Last few months it's always on sale. Usually when see that occur so often it was offered as games with gold or soon to be game pass game.
Darn. I thought that was The Thaumaturge being pictured. I’m hoping and anticipating that for game pass.

As an owner of SeriesX since 2022, I don't trust the Gamepass rumors. Coming from PSN where the French leaker is so accurate, I have learned to tune out Gamepass rumors.
Weren't we supposed to have Atlas Fallen on Gamepass?
Mafia definitive edition is already on ps plus, and a 7.99 game, so its pretty likely they will add that one. Its a lot of game for the money, def worth a look..

I beat the original on PC so long ago. That was a great era for PC. This could be fun to check out. Now I've got a controller for that racing mission. 😄
