Formidable Xbox Game Pass leaker eXtas1s has another "confirmed" arrival date for us this week, in the form of Activision's Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Previously rumoured for an August Game Pass drop, the insider now claims that the remaster trilogy will come to the service on Thursday, August 8.
Just like their recent Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leak, the source is saying that this date is now "100% confirmed" - and given that the MW3 date turned out to be accurate, we can safely assume that this Crash Bundle will be on Xbox Game Pass in just over two weeks' time.
It's been a slow process, but Activision Blizzard games are finally coming to Microsoft's Game Pass service at a steady pace now. We had to wait a good six months from the acquisition for our first addition in Diablo 4, but now we have MW3 and Black Ops 6 confirmed to be coming - and we shouldn't have to wait much longer for official confirmation on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy either.
Earlier this month, eXtas1s also claimed that Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 would arrive soon after Crash, but a specific month for them hasn't been detailed yet. Hopefully we get both of those by the end of the year as well!
Excited to finally get Crash on Game Pass? Tell us down below if you'll be playing it as soon as it's available!

If they can get close to a monthly gamepass release from Activision for the rest of the year it would be a really strong second half for gp alongside the other 1st party games coming.
Something like
July - mw3
August - crash trilogy
Sept - spyro trilogy
Oct - black ops 6
Nov - tony hawk
Dec - diablo 2???
Now this is something I'm excited to play from ABK that I haven't yet. Hopefully Spyro and Tony Hawk 1+2 follow shortly after.
Crash 2 is the highlight of that game. Perfect balance of difficulty, platforming and gimmicky levels.
Have the people who haven't played this but want to play it been waiting all this time for it to land on gamepass? I don't get it. Crash trilogy, Spiro trilogy and Tony hawks are all worth the money especially when they go on sale for pretty good prices.
$20/mo and people are getting excited for an 8th gen remake of a 5th gen game that's been on sale for years and years? Does everyone laugh at sitcoms whenever the laugh track plays, too?
@Beetlebum91 In my case it's more "these would be great games to try" but not that interested in buying. I mainly play games I have and what is on Game Pass due to the time I actually have to play games between family and work. I rarely buy games anymore and these would be great to have at the ready through Game Pass.
@NEStalgia - that’s one way to look at it but for me I don’t want to buy anything and everything simply because it is cheap. I’m quite happy to use Gamepass for first party titles and view it as an easy way to demo lots and lots of other titles, maybe stuff I’d never unearth or invest in. Don’t think I’ve played Crash or Spyro since PlayStation 1 (or was it 2) - so I’m not frothing at the mouth, but I am curious enough to download and try if they hit the service.
Can't they just put all of them on game pass in a day if they want to?
I was hoping now that MS owns id and Activision there might be more word on the Hexen/Heretic and other old Raven games front but still nada.
@NEStalgia I know surly people can't be excited about old games all of these games have been on ps plus for ages now the recent call of duty and diablo 4 fair enough but not these games more day ones games is more important
@Dan1283 I guess the new Game Pass Standard subscribers need something to get excited about? To be fair, it's still a better Naughty Dog game than TLoU2.... 🥷
@Feffster Yeah, that's practical and fair, but it's kind of my point. It's one thing that it's interesting to try "because it's there", it's another thing using it as a dripfeed to get people excited to play Xbox One remasters of PS1 games for $20/mo.
Yeah, too little too late Microsoft. I don't play Call of Duty. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Tony Hawk, & Diablo I've owned on multiple platforms for quite some time now.
But it's good for those who don't own these games...
Someone fire up a new years rocket.
The 10 people on this planet, who didn't already buy this game can now play it between their 500 other games on Gamepass. Pew pew...
Already bought it years ago!
See this is why Sony and Nintendo win.
I have series x and GPU.
No I won’t be downloading crash, why because most of us that wanted to play it have.
I will be buying Astro Bot and Zelda Echos, new AAA games. And they will probably be advertised etc and capture the general public.
You can’t keep pumping old games into GPU it doesn’t sell it or consoles and sales show that nowadays.
Never played them….always will have game pass ultimate because whatever people think about the price or any tiny price increase, game pass is ultimate value for money.
Looking forward to playing them! 🙏🏻
