Following an Xbox confirmation in March, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered has now locked in a launch date.
It will launch for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on October 31st, 2024 (aka Halloween). It comes with all-new features, a new game+ mode, 4K, and additional costumes. Pre-orders are also available now, so you can purchase it right away!
If you didn't play the original game, it was crafted by the industry legends Goichi "Suda51" Suda (No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil). And here's a brief summary of this game, if you haven't played it before:
"Join the crass Garcia Hotspur and his boney buddy, Johnson, as they traverse the depths of the Underworld to steal back Garcia's kidnapped lover, Paula, from the clutches of Fleming, the Lord of the Underworld. Let the soul of rock 'n' roll run loose in the heart of the twisted hellscape that is the Underworld.
"Shadows of the Damned, an action-adventure road trip through hell, has been remastered at last! Get ready for a story about rock, love, and just a little bit of demon slaying."
Will you be checking this one out on Xbox? Let us know.

Maybe if it’s on game pass… Ima be busy with metaphorefantasio in October, trying to finish it before dragon quest 3 in mid-Nov!
One of my absolute favourite games of the PS360 era. I played it on the 360 and got every achievement (as I recall, the difficulty achievements did not stack, so you had to play the game through multiple times to get each difficulty achievement), and after I had done that, I played it through once more on the hardest difficulty (which did not have an achievement attached) just for fun. The game is that good. Will be pre-ordering the game today...
I don't replay games, so I will not be picking this up, but for newcomers, this game is really fun and hilarious.
Nice one less 360 game for me to buy before the store closes!
