Update (Mon 15th Jul, 2024): Just a quick update to say this ornament is now officially available to buy! You can grab it via the Hallmark US website (as shown down below), and it seems to be proving very popular already.

Original story (Mon 15th Apr, 2024): Yes, it's a bit early to start thinking about Christmas 2024 already, but you might want to keep this one in mind! Hallmark has unveiled a new "Original XBOX Console Ornament With Light and Sound", and it's getting a release this July.
Retailing for just $22.99, this Christmas decoration isn't just fun to look at, as it also plays the console startup sound from the original Xbox, as well as the Halo theme tune! Here's a bit more about it:
"Recall hours spent parked in front of the television, video game controller in hand. Nothing mattered except battling the Covenant and completing the entire "Halo: Combat Evolved" first-person game. Relive the mission when you display this Microsoft XBOX console Christmas tree ornament that lights up and plays the familiar console startup sounds and theme music of the iconic video game. Battery operated."
This isn't the first time we've seen musical Christmas ornaments like this from Hallmark - there are some for the SEGA Dreamcast and Genesis, for example. Clearly, they've proved popular enough to result in an Xbox version as well!
If you're interested, the Hallmark website says this Xbox console decoration will be available from July 13th, 2024. Whether it'll be available in more regions beyond the US remains to be seen (there's no sign of it in the UK just yet).
Would you grab this Hallmark Xbox ornament for your Christmas collection? Let us know in the comments.

Our definitions of “Must-buy” differ wildly.
@GeeEssEff I was going to say this exact thing. While I'm disappointed that someone beat me to it, I'm not disappointed to see that I'm not the only sane person here.
The price seems quite high but when you see people spending this on a virtual t-shirt in a game I can see people buying this. I'd be thinking about it at a quarter of the price and a definite no at anything higher.
I'll put this on my wish list, nice little stocking stuffer for my wife to buy me. Hang it to remember the good old days when I had time to play video games.
Okay so this is cool
This is cool. It's a shame these Hallmark ornaments aren't as easy to get in the UK as they make some really fun stuff, and some high quality Star Trek ones too.
there's no good will left between ms and me so i can't buy extra cute things like this. a real shame cause i would have loved the xbox series s toaster.
Look, all love to Xbox and all, but I’m not going to junk up my tree with this.
They should raise Gamepass another dollar to subsidize this
I have the SNES version of this. It plays the theme song from Super Mario World.
CG mock ups make it look quite good and detailed. Then look at the video on the store page, it looks like crap, no where near as good as the pics.
